How?
⁃ Cheap nfc stickers (aliexpress, NTag213, ≈€0,10)
⁃ iOS Shortcuts
⁃ Spotify
⁃ Album cover resource website (like Hema.nl, ≈€0,35)
⁃ Square photo printing service (like Album Art Exchange)
⁃ Mounting system (blue tack, poster buddy, or a rail of sorts, I used aluminium 1m profiles at ≈€2)
⁃ Android? Not a clue. Probably easier.
Why?
⁃ I forget about my favourite albums from the past
⁃ Helps me spend time actually listening to an album
⁃ Fun
Issues / And now?
⁃ Figure out a way to do the same with a Spotify playlist (I can’t get the playlist to actually play automatically)
⁃ Figure out a way to put the smart in the nfc tag, so it works on somebody else’s phone too
⁃ A standalone device v.s. iPhone would be even better, but lots of work
⁃ Printing more album covers and adding them to the wall ;)
⁃ Listening to more music

Thank you! My local hardware shop doesn’t list its items online. But I just used a U shaped aluminium bar, and inserted a flat aluminium bar to make a narrow gap to allow for the album pictures

There is option in iphone for ask for confirmation in NFC tag setting. Turn it off

Photos from a local photo printer that offers square photos, bracket is just an U shaped alu bracket!
