- Welcome to Inabakumori Station’s Multiple Animator Project (MAP) for Lagtrain!
We gathered a bunch of members from our community to fully recreate the music video for Lagtrain in their styles. This was finished for Inabakumori’s Birthday on February 25th, 2024. Happy Birthday, Inabakumori! Your music is a constant source of inspiration for all of us. Thank you!
This project was organized by one of our moderators, Kenny. Thank you so much for bringing up this project! It was a lot of fun to see this through till the end.

I really like the transitions because they don’t feel too awkward. One of my favorite art jumpscares is 1:22, that was super smooth. All of the styles were really cool!

Oh my gosh, THIS IS SO FREAKING AMAZING! All of the different art styles, different animation styles, different mediums of animation, different interpretations of the girl (I forgot if Inabakumori has a specific name for her or if she goes by Yuki), different outfits, different references/jokes, different looks at the song's themes, AH! IT'S ALL TOO COOL AND AMAZING! MY SOUL CAN NOT TAKE IT! IT'S MAKING MY SOUL *LAG* BECAUSE OF HOW COOL IT IS AND ok, yeah, I admit, that pun may have been just a _little_ too forced. But what I said before the awful forced pun is true!!!!
The thing about MAPS in general is that there are a lot where everybody is trying to match the same art styles, and while I can see the appeal of that, there is something so freaking magical and cool about everybody doing their own style. AND THIS ONE IS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE OF THAT! Everyone is so talented and everybody's parts were so unique and special; it just makes the way it all comes together here so freaking awesome. There's something really beautiful about all these different artists coming together to celebrate another artist who inspires them by creating such wonderful art together.
Ah! Sorry, I've been talking for a while! Well, I guess I'm not technically talking but you get what I mean. There is more that I want to say but I don't think anybody wants to have to read an -even longer- essay of me rambling (especially me cause I was supposed to get started on writing a different essay for my psychology final 20 minutes ago...). Anyways, to finally wrap this up I just want to say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS VIDEO, EVERYBODY INVOLVED DID TRULY AMAZING, THIS WAS SUPER COOL, THANK YOU SO MUCH, GO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES, HAVE A GREAT DAY OR NIGHT, OKAY BYE!!!!!!

I think this might geniunely be the best reanimated project I have ever seen, every single artstyle is incredibly charming and unique while still feeling cohesive as a whole, I also love that despite being decently faithful to the original MV it still isn't afraid to deviate from it at parts such as with crypticspoon1's animation of her waiting at the station for the train to arrive.
THAT MINECRAFT BIT HAD BO RIGHT BEING THAT GOOD IT DESERVES MORE LOVE ❤❤❤

3:45 I love the detail of showing the different osage versions that appeared in the MVs
I love that the drawing styles are different and show that many different people have different ways of drawing a character.
Some of those animations really makes me wish they made a full version of this
