Who’s been the highest-grossing star in recent years? You might think of Robert Downey Jr., Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt or maybe Tom Cruise. Sure, Downey and Cruise made the list - but they’re not number one: and the others are not even close. The crown actually belonged to Scarlett Johansson for a long time and she is still highest grossing in international box office. Before 2000 no actress had ever made it to this list, and that makes Scarlett’s achievement even more impressive.
But early in the actress’s career there were some moments where Scarlett Johansson almost didn’t happen. Like, many desirable roles were often snatched up by Lindsay Lohan or Kirsten Dunst. I walked past Scarlett on a Glasgow street and thought I was seeing things,she was with another woman,I was like "it couldn't be? " She was gorgeous, turns out she was making a low budget sci-fi movie called Under the skin in Glasgow,I should have said hi lol 😘
