Great review. You should have disclosed they only use Ford engines and transmissions now. The early cars used a GM LS engine while they were waiting for Federal approvals to use the Ford engine in it. I toured their facility when they first opened and they really do a lot to improve the Mustang "experience" with current engineering. I have an original 65 Mustang convertible I have owned 53 years, and I wish it operated like the Revology.
do they have s fornt bench seat and column steering option ? id like to have my girlfriend wrapped around me when i drive this classic at 2 mph on the byroads
Unibody construction. I'll never be able to afford this car, but I checked their website. They have some good comparisons of "excellent" restored vintage Mustangs versus Revology's approach. No comparison, in my opinion. If only Ford would build this for $50k or less....
I've Just Bought A '65 Mustang Convertable. Shipping From LA To The UK Around 6/8 Weeks ... Just in time for Summer ... Color? Fords Original "Caspian Blue".
Well, it broke my heart to hear that car had an l.S engine in it. I'm not. A mechanic or a know it all , but I had my concerns whenever you got down on it as to what kind of engine it might have. You can keep.that particular car.
Gorgeous cars, and they use Ford Coyote’s now, and 10 speed automatics. Even for an old Camaro/Nova guy like me I’m happy to see a mother ship motor being used. Yes they’re expensive but you can pay north of 200k for vintage GT350 and the new top shelf Mustang’s are not cheap either. Our daughter has a very nice silver blue ‘66 GT 2+2 and it certainly has a very antique feel about it, still a wonderful car though. I wonder if Revology would build a ‘66 GT convertible in seldom seen ‘66 only Emberglo metallic?, not a colour on their order sheet.
For 200k you can buy a Ferrari or a modern Aston Martin. So the question is same what it was in 1960 : what is your personal preference ? A pony or a exact same priced ferrari or Aston ?
I own a 66 that looks more like a 67coupe ... 289v8 .... I will have mine back on road mid next year.. I Like the replica cars but its a little out of my price range. (i went to the web site) Im sure that due to laws of the land that because its a new build that it must be up to current Epa specs. Im sure the new engines are much more fuel effiecient
They look very nice and I can say have a great suspension compared to the original suspension but only two things bug me about these cars. One is that it doesn't have an old school engine that has it's original sound, and two the area where the shifter is supposed to be is different. It's raised and looks like it takes up too much room. If I hit the lotto I would asked them if they can make me a mustang more close to the original and I would gladly pay them hundreds of thousands of dollars. If they say no then no worries, just take my business else where.
Almost everything about this car is perfect except for the heart it ruined it. Not entirely sure why Revology didn't use a Coyote engine? To each there own.
The revology is just gorgeous and amazing but the pricing is just flat out ridiculous. 210k? is beyond absurd and is in my eyes not justifiable for what you're getting imo.
They have gone way up in price due to inflation and shortages. They have to make a profit so they cost what they cost and clearly people are paying. If I win Powerball i will be calling them.
You can't anymore. The first couple dozen cars came with LS engines. Since (roughly) car #30, they've used Ford Coyote engines, either the naturally aspirated or supercharged variant depending on what model is selected.
Great car and i would never be able to afford one but shoehorning a GM Ls into a classic mustang just does not sit right with me and Henry must be turning in his grave!
i was really into the car..U N T I L i seen it was chevy powered,,,absolutely yuk on the motor and trans ..i nearly puked on my keyboard after seeing a chevy motor...a nice little 351 and AOD would have been much better
What you will get is an inferior product. The early mustangs were great vehicles for their time, but Revology’s Mustangs are better in every way. What they’re doing is filling a not-so-niche market demand for a classic muscle car aesthetic with modern performance and reliability. Add onto that the fact that each of their Mustangs are handcrafted to the demands of the customer with high-end materials and the price tag becomes much more reasonable. It may look like a classic Mustang, but it’s built to a quality comparable to a Bentley.
The body of these cars are manufactured by Dynacorn International. A company who makes their products in China, Taiwan and Mexico. And as any true classic enthusiast knows, a company with poor quality control. Lol 😂
I would love it's this beautifully very good perfect Car FORD MUSTANG with no roof Go out to driver road trips lovely smile cooler Off ñicely relaxing and bring it up to on Australia Queensland Brisbane for just give to me Craig Penhall My dream ohhhh yeahhhh
The Revology is gorgeous inside and out. Those wheels look great, too. Very tastefully done.
I particularly love the interior.

Been following Revology for over a year and it’s nice to see someone reviewing them. Must have been hard to stop driving it that beautiful day.
I was impressed, but it was far from the first time
I had a burgundy '66 convertible. Dream!
Pops had a hold of her at the end, he knew what to do! Great video guys, both special cars. Looked like the Revology car was really moving on!
Thanks 👍
Hands down the Revology Mustang wins my heart.
It does marry the iconic look with modern performance
Revology makes a very nice car, however it is out of reach for the average consumer.
It is true the price is out of reach of most, but they do fill a market niche very well.
Thanks for the video, I've always been interested in the revology cars.
You are most welcome
Had a 66 conv yellow with black top my best mustang tom s detroit
❤
I'm not even a car guy but this car is just so gorgeous
Agree, it has the LOOK
Love your car. presentations! Very useful!
Thank you Pat, makes me happy to hear that
When the hood was opened to show an LS, I could not continue watching.
push through, there are worse things
Blasphemy. This as bad as the Shelby Cobra kit car from the UK with a LS engine in it.
do they have s fornt bench seat and column steering option ? id like to have my girlfriend wrapped around me when i drive this classic at 2 mph on the byroads
So is even the body on the revology a replica? Or is it still an original donor body but just on a modern platform?

@@thehomer5913 Maybe in 2066
Definitely a nice ride I think they are overpriced for me lol I would rather have a resto any day.
I understand
One day I'll have a custom built Revology car with every modern piece of kit inside,,, and more importantly, a right hand drive for my country 😁😎
I've Just Bought A '65 Mustang Convertable. Shipping From LA To The UK Around 6/8 Weeks ... Just in time for Summer ... Color? Fords Original "Caspian Blue".
What’s the retail on one of those?
Nice rolling stop😁
That. Looks. Fun!

Agree Gary .... yep, they will build it in any color requested (I would love to have that 66 Silver GT !!)
A quarter-million bucks, and the sun visor won’t stay up!

price?
Good thing Revology lowered the seat pans so 6 ft plus giants like the reviewer can sit comfortably.
Sounds clever.
Revology cars are absolutely stunning. BUT at that price point im gona go buy a used Lambo.
Looks like they didn't grease the tie rod end

Why doesn't Ford just build the 1965-66 body style car. The cost would be about the same as the new one.
They have moved on for many reasons, but I have to say the classic appeal to me more than the new ones
@@QualityClassics your not wrong. It’s in a different class. The worlds gone crazy. No more style

David Hovik Really car, they do use it now. Great engine, now some of their Coyotes are supercharged.
That's good to here.
they do use a Coyote but there were some reasons early on that the LS platform was necessary
@@QualityClassics no reason to ruin an iconic car like a stang with a LS ..no excuses ...keep that LS crap to chevy's
Very, very nice I like it
Needs a shift kit!
Revology needs some white wall tires.

Brilliant!
thank you
The classic appeal to me its like stepping in a time machine, but REVOLOGY's interior puts my Mustang GT 2019 to shame...
The interior was a master stroke
Great car and i would never be able to afford one but shoehorning a GM Ls into a classic mustang just does not sit right with me and Henry must be turning in his grave!
Me likey , to bad they don’t make the 69 Mach 1 or Boss
that is a great idea
i was really into the car..U N T I L i seen it was chevy powered,,,absolutely yuk on the motor and trans ..i nearly puked on my keyboard after seeing a chevy motor...a nice little 351 and AOD would have been much better
yes, hard to reconcile but it certainly works
I mean they are beautiful and hand made, but $198,000 is a bit much
that is an incredible amount of money for sure
I’ll stick with the Original - “Old School”
Price of this car
check their site
Make sure you are going to keep it forever because you’ll take a beating when you go to sell it.
As an impartial reviewer, I think whenever you have a sentence without the word "Revology" in it, you should just say "Revology".
thanks
If you got $266,318 it can be yours.
please build a cheaper version ...
yes ..... please
That doesn't look like stuff you can make your own
true
They are nice but I don’t think they worth 300k
Everyone’s got there thing they’re willing to stretch for. But yeah, they ain’t cheap… then again what is these days?
Corvette/Camaro....If it has Chevy motors, then forget it! I did not know this, would not buy! I guess I will stop looking.
only a few of there cars had this motor
Wayyyyyyyy over priced. You can get an original for waaaaaaaaaaaay less.
Yes but will it run reliably?
It’s only overpriced if nobody is buying them. And that isn’t the case.
It's like $31,000 - $35,000 I believe. It's pretty good car tho
