  • Hello friends. I wanted to design a Big Balloon Battle Axe that could be constructed quickly enough for deluxe line work, and I think I succeeded!
    To create this awesome balloon model, you simply need:
    •2X grey 350
    •2X brown 260
    •optional grey 350 tail scrap
    The most important tip I can give you for this design is to make sure that the intersection of the 4 pinch twists in the center of the Axe is tight, even, and secure, to ensure the structural integrity of the design.
    Please Rate, Comment, and SuBsCrIbE!!!

    Mate you have the most practical designs, yet maintain that “deluxe” look. Customers love it when I use one of your designs and often compliment them. But also critical with balloon weapons in particular- they are kid tough.

      Hey Scruffy! I remember your comment from a couple years ago about not liking the music in the videos 😅. Now I’m going to remember you as the person who told me that their customers compliment my designs! I rarely (if ever) get that comment, so that is really meaningful to hear. Thank you.

      @@BalloonSage yeah I’ve improved my skill level a little bit since then so I now really enjoy the speedy tutorials. I’m sorry I was so rude in the past.
      But yeah I’ve only been working for about 12-18 months and I often get compliments that my balloons are the best they’ve seen- and they are designs I’ve learned from your channel so thank you very much! :)

      No, I like earnest criticism, that’s why I remembered it! 😊 If even one of my designs has helped you make money, that makes me very happy. I used to make so many balloon weapons back in the day, although these days I basically just make baby shower balloons, hearts, flowers, butterflies - basically just cutesy things. I’m just finishing up a new video now, but I wanted to say it was great to hear from you and thank you for your comments.

    This design is better than a sword. I will practice this one a lot. He is right about getting just enough un-inflated.

      Thanks for your comment, I am glad you like it. I have tons of sword and laser gun tutorials on this channel as well (as I love creating balloon weaponry in particular) so check those out if you like.

    The way the handle connects is brilliant and the end cap is perfect. I wish I saw this before I worked this gig tonight.

      Hello, I am glad you like it! For me, when designing line work models, structural viability is always a major component behind the design process.

      The connection point is very pleasing to the eye and stable. I need to borrow this technique for some bouquet work..

    Great design! Love the way you edited your video - the enhancements are really nice and so is the length of the production. Thanks for sharing... one thing - almost didn't recognize you with plain, black shades. :-)

    This is so cool! I'm so gonna make a balloon axe myself once I get bag of 350Q's. I'd like to see you make a big mucle man out out balloons.

      That's great. This design is a bit tricky but worth having in your repertoire. I have an old Rambo tutorial that is buff - m.ua-cam.com/video/8Kkuqfo2_j0/v-deo.html I don't usually do larger models but I will see what I can come up with. m.ua-cam.com/video/8Kkuqfo2_j0/v-deo.htmldon't

    Love It and the Music is very good. BTW how many fingers length on the 350 ?

    • @BalloonSage
      @BalloonSage  9 років тому

      Hi there. You want to have about four to five fingers of tail on each 350. I had to make quite a few of them before it felt natural, but after twisting them a few times in a row you can bust these out fast! 👍👍👍

    • @BalloonSage
      @BalloonSage  9 років тому

      too little air and there won't be enough to make all your twists and too much air will provide you with the problem of being unable to pop off your excess. Also, as I mention in the description, securing the intersection of the 260 pinch twists and 350 pinch twists is crucial. Structural viability is the goal of this design, and honestly i had to make about 12 of these axes as I designed it before I could make it that fast on film hahaha

    What does it mean in the description by 2X? I see only ONE of each size used plus a scrap. I'm new to balloon twisting.

      Hello! I havn’t watched this vid in a while so I had to check. Those were two 350s tied together at the nozzles. asks me any questions you have and I will get back to you fast - I was gone for a while but back uploading on UA-cam again.

      Hi! When I first started learning how to make balloon animals, I would rewind the tutorials over and over, pause, and practice and practice until I had the new design I was learning down perfect. I apologize if it is too speedy, but, if you are up for the challenge, you can learn any balloon model if you don’t give up. Thank you for watching my video.
