And one thing that you sed was that it has a blanket over. I have the same problem I can't get my lags very close to his body . I will check them out thank for the video I injoyd it. I love my weather leather pads! I have 3 of them, one I use as strictly a show pad. The other 2 I just use for my trail rides. Something I would be interested in getting your all's opinion on; Do you prefer breast collars or pulling collars? I used to use breast collars, but recently in the last 3 months switched to a pulling collar as it seems to fit my horse better. I haven't seen much of a difference in the way he performs but interested to hear your take.
I’m very happy with these pads! And as far as the breast collar vs pulling, so as you can see in my video I use a form of tripping collar with a withers strap to hold it up, I’m very happy with it however I am looking into a thick pulling collar to try out, for me personally I probably would never run a typical breast collar just because it’s a little thin, I prefer styles where there is some meat to it. As far as the horse performing I think no matter what you run as long as it’s adjusted properly they should perform and move just fine, the difference is going to be when you’ve got a steer tied on, how does each collar disperse the weight and make it easier for that horse to pull that weight that’s where the true difference comes in.
