Yes Georgia wasn't all Angels but at least she had tried so much to understand Ginny and give her options but Ginny just chose to not care. I mean why did she put her mom on blast after her mom explained everything.

@@Just_kethat’s true hearing Ginny’s side didn’t totally makeup for everything cause she always had a mom who was willing to listen to her and who was open with her and she used those opportunities to say shit to her and throw tantrums instead of trying to talk to her properly about whats going on . I think she’s super lucky to have a parent who’s willing to listen to her and who’s invested in her life and she’s taking that for granted
This reaction didn't show it, but ep 6 and 7 was when i really started to like Abby because she was the only one who was really grateful about Georgia throwing the party. And she started being nicer to Ginny too. I defo think she's overhated ♡

I think it's because Abby's parents are insinuated to be pretty neglectful to Abby, so that's why she's very grateful to Georgia cus she wishes her parents would be that caring. It's very sweet.

14:22 "Sksksk and I oop" Is kinda like an aesthetic called "VSCO girl" I think was trendy durning 2020-2021. With water bottles "stay hydrated!", scrunchies, shell necklace, often oversized shirts with shorts or leggings. "save the turtles, sksks and I oop" is a thing everyone said back then. I would say it's a period where scrunchies was introduced to teens and became more popular.

It amazes me that so little people understand Ginny’s anger. As a person whose mom is very similar to Georgia. It’s almost as if you’re living with a stranger. It doesn’t matter how many good things they try to do. When your childhood is constantly uprooted due to dangerous/ traumatic situations And then On top of it you slowly find out your mom is a completely different person. It’s scary and uncomfortable. You want answers but scared to find out While also trying to deal with a social life where you e already developed high anxiety, self harm, depression. Some things are just too much. As a parent you are supposed to lessen these things.
People just see Georgia as 'the cool mom', actually growing up with a mom who acts more like a friend than a parent is nowhere near as fun as it looks from the outside.
right thats what im saying like Georgia has her faults and human its just like ginny some of the things ginny has done is not excusable but overall everybody deals with things differently not everyone thinks and acts the same but you cant blame ginny for how she feels towards her but still she doesn't have the right to disrepect her. Overall ginny has her reasons towards her mom and Georgia is a good mom and does everything a parent should do but still some of Georgia's things are unexcusable.
there is a difference between ginny's anger and the way ginny treats georgia, yes its hard to find out that your mother had relatives that you didnt know about and changed her name but here the way she reacts to it is not justifiable. The things that georgia hid so far, in no way suggests that she is a bad person, its not that hard to understand that she mightve had a past. Ginny's reaction to it is as if Georgia is an extremely bad person. Georgia trying to make her happy on her birthday and her reaction to it is way over the line, imagining calling your mom 'trash'. she gets away with it since Georgia is 'the cool mom'.
Exactly... especially when you look at everything Georgia has done to protect her kids and give them the life they deserve @nfgthfr

I binged this show just so I could watch y’all’s reactions to it and not feel dumb for not knowing anything 😂
While it’s understandable why Georgia wouldn’t tell Ginny and Austin about her own family…..the thing about trying to run and hide from your past, as well as pushing it away…..is that it always comes back to the surface. Children are usually very curious about everything and when it comes to family, they’re gonna have questions. Georgia never used mother-daughter boundaries with Ginny as a little girl which is why Ginny is sometimes very disrespectful towards her because she wasn’t taught any better. At the end of the day, while Georgia hopefully wants what’s best for her and her kids (it hasn’t been established as to what she truly wants) Ginny just wants the truth, she wants to know who her mom truly is and her mom’s past even if it’s an ugly past and it doesn’t help that Georgia tries to play it off as nothing and pretend that everything is fine, because it’s clearly not. If Georgia had raised them to be completely open about their feelings, to have emotions, and to never be afraid to talk about how they truly feel in a respectful way…..she wouldn’t have such a problem with Ginny although, Ginny is a teenager going through so much in her own life…..teens have their own crazy life experiences. Imagine if Ginny was this proper and respectful child all the way through and then one day she found out something crazy and possibly bad about Georgia that she’d never known before….regardless if she talked to her about it or not, she would be curious and would probably have questions and want to know that situation. At some point and time, kids do deserve to know certain things especially if it could impact them.
