- SADC leaders have reaffirmed that peace and security is still a priority for the region.
They met in the 44th ordinary SADC summit in the Zimbabwean capital Harare.
Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa has also taken over as SADC chair from his Angolan counterpart President João Lourenço.
Heads of State of the Southern Africa Development Community descended on Harare this week as Zimbabwe hosts the 44th SADC Heads of States and Government Summit, chaired this year by Zimbabwe President Emerson Mnangagwa.

Please name one spot in this world where there is human rights. The whole world is a public toilet if you ask me. Tell me how the world talks about 900 billions of dollars profit from arms . Same folks that will police others on human rights. UN is a club of 5 then you can expect what from a regional trading block . If that is true, we really care about human rights . We must overhaul the world's governance and stop pretending we are civilized when we are not . I refused to be hoodwinked by just rhetoric. Nobody cares about human rights . No one cares. It's a vehicle to control and scam so much more 0:02 . We heard the screeching again about AGOA against the SA , as control then the Screeching again about BRICKS now it's about SADC . It seems all trading organ independent of western influences are a problem? We do not hear that about ECOWAS ? We do not hear that about AU more so as it is the Africa body that should have more be responsible for control over Africa . We no it's another bunch of lobbyists for foreign interests .Full of so-called observers? Nothing of that kind happens in organisations in other continents. In Asia or the Middle East. Do you tell all parts of the world are perfect . It's only in the southern region of Africa . Of course the whole world is interested in the very rich part of the continent. Southern Region is a very fat goose for resources. Who owns and control it control the whole Africa. These lobbyists called media funded by foreign interest can't tell you that . NOTHING TO DO WITH HUMAN RIGHT HERE. Another vehicle to control Economic Independence for Africa is a scary thing for those that depends on extraction of resources from the southern region and whole of Africa.Mind you US has its own trading organ AGOA which is competing with SADC . So don't lie through teeth and talk about human rights or you are about ordinary Zimbabweans. You hate the family name but love the kids. . This is the only organ independent of western influences hence the attempted division on who supports Russia or the the US. Please tell me why Russia and the US are involved in African affairs. Are they number 55 and 56 African states?. They are not. ITS ALL ABOUT RESOURCES. Why was everything quiet before the summit ? Who is benefiting in this ? No Africans . Well food is not a human right so say UN aka US. Because it's needed as a vehicle and leverage as so called aid ⛑️. This is a region that can make Africa self sufficient. So it must be controlled by all means. Human rights my hind . Seriously.

SADC and the AU must and should sue and sanction Zimbabwean government to undertake viable economic reforms and put the government under economic administration which does not infringe on Zimbabwe sovereignty. Economic administration or intervention can be comprised of experts, engineers and scientist who can assist Zimbabwe with building infrastructure and exploiting the resources for job opportunities, economic development and economic stability. South Africa GDP is twice bigger than the GDPs of all SADC countries combined and it's a member of BRICS countries. Having that regional influence and international connection it can use it to advance the interest of South Africans first and add value in the region. South Africa can initiate the process or threaten to mass deport Zimbabweans back to mnagwangwa
What about sanctions from America, Britain and Europe,
