- 4 grandmaster fixed card battle in which I'm showing how to beat the Australian Turtle Strategy and explaining why Australia can give you disadvantage in a high ranked player game.
In this channel I’m sharing relevant risk tips and tricks that will help you to increase your rank in no time. I upload my videos constantly, I try to make them short and informative but also entertaining at the same time.

What is Risk?
Risk is a strategy board game of diplomacy, conflict and conquest for two to six players. Players may form and dissolve alliances during the course of the game. The main goal in the standard version is to conquer every territory on the map and in doing so, eliminate the other players.

I find it so funny how the blue player when capturing territories goes supersonic speed it’s like he has bursts of anger.
When I do this strategy(taking out Australian turtle), the other two players just never attack each other until the game gets boring for them and one of them suicide on me getting 2nd and giving the game to the 3rd player
I always attack a player that would be a threat to me moving forward so if I’m in SA I attack NA player rapidly, if I’m Africa, I attack EU player rapid.. I don’t like just piling up troops either that’s why you gotta try to take players out unless you absolutely can’t
I'm a master player around 10,000 in rank, and I'm so happy to have found this channel. Much of my intuitions about the game seem to be correct but you've definitely polished up some of my tactics.

The GMs I usually stumble upon are cheaters playing with dual accounts. I'm so fed up with them.
Yeah, it can be nearly impossible to find legit Grandmasters playing in the same lobby in public. This game was played in Play Friends with subscribers 😃

I always try to be more passive not wasting my troops and using them in a more efficient way, however there is always a player to attack me making both me and him waste troops while there is the freaking australia turtle player farming troops, i try to be more neutral but it's hard to do it because of these agressive players
If they attack, dont attack back and just recapture your continent or move your troops somewhere else. Its at least better then losing them
@@ashkan2555 yep, i forgot to say i do that too, but it's hard when you play with kamikaze players, but fortunatelly it's not every time i play with them

How does the blue player move so fast!!???? I had the case twice playing with guys moving super fast and don't understand how

Hey, does zombies receive continental bonus? Like, if they capture austrialia they will receive 2 bonus troops per turn?
No, I believe they don't receive continental bonus
@@Risk4Ever because the more troops they have, the more they get, and with the continental bonus could be a little op for them, right?
@@lukeskywalker8516 Not sure what influences how many troops zombies get, but as as far as I know they don't get continental bonus. I don't really know how zombies work though, I don't really play them at all, so I'm not too sure, so maybe someone else could explain better than me 👍
@@Risk4Ever yeah, i don't play with them as well, and, if players could play as the zombies it would be broken and everyone would attack the zombie player, because they would not let the zombie player farm troops
why do you guys don't dice (not talking of blitzing) big troops in order to reduce them ? Might create more opportunities
What do you do if your the purple player in the beginning?
I talk about it at 9:23 - 11:02 So if I am the purple player in the beginning of the game then I choose to target one specific player, so I wouldn't become the weakest. Red and yellow is already in a conflict, so I can help one of them deal with another one. Or I can go with the easiest option to target blue, since the European player is the easiest one to invade, it would have been the greatest choice after the turn in which the red and yellow player ended the conflict, so by constantly invading blue I wouldn't be risking to break the balance of the game since two other opponents were getting the same number of troops each. The blue player without a continent would have become the weakest and been eliminated first.
6:58 Im pretty sure blue was only capturing territories to get the cards, not for anything major.
That was one sweaty looking game, I can't lie.

What do you think made blue attack you into North America at the end? It’s not like you had a huge advantage because that’s the only place you were on the map, you didn’t want South America either. Maybe blue thought you had too much power? Or maybe he just decided in his head that nobody was gonna have a big continent? I’m not sure
I don't know either, maybe he was very salty that I took North America from him, (he sent angry face emoji after I invaded it), and didn't want let me have it as well, or maybe he just simply didn't realize that his attack was going to break the balance of the game, or maybe both 🤔 He actually commented under this video, so if you're interested, you could ask him by yourself 👍 (Search for the comment of Xerokee)
Reason why au strategy is overrated is because a lot of the players turtling their end up getting very weak while others getting seriously strong. Especially against higher ranked players who know not to fight and not to kill each other 😂

Great game, yeah that’s why I’m a little more passive then you were, the blue player really ruined the game for both of you in one turn lol. I also had a very intense game on a map I never played before, Spain but instead of of the Australian turtle strategy it was the Basque Country turtle strategy and luckily the player that ruined the game didn’t ruin the game on me so I was just barely able to take both of them out and win. Please try that map it’s fun. I call it the second Spanish civil war. Good long videos I really like them👍🏼

I've watched a lot of your vids and they improved my game so much thank you. This is THE best match ever! Please post more of these true GM matches, as you have enough vids where new players are wiping each other out whilst you turtle and mop up the mess. This single game has so many more tactics and learnings by watching players who all understand the troop balance and diplomacy, attacking at the right time as needed. In summary, this vid is epic please post more like it :)

This video has me wondering...is there a 'turn based' version of RISK? What I mean is: everyone starts out with the same number(if possible) of territories, but after X number of turns, the player with the most territories wins...
On a side note: there is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much strategy being played out in this game IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!

He probably manually rolled with 1 dice, I guess 🤔 (If you manually roll with 1 dice, then you're able to leave 1 troop on a newly captured territory)

@@Risk4Ever That it? Guess that shorter attack animations really help because I've played for way longer on some games but no where near as many turns passed.
@@MrTVx99 Yeah, and mostly because the players were making their turns immediately, without waiting any additional time at most turns
