Correction: you said it’s 18 hours on 6 hours off but I’m pretty sure it’s 16 hours on 8 hours off for the click and grow. And I think the same for the AG harvest.. at least I believe it is for the Harvest 2.0 that I have

You are right😎👍. Thank you for the correction. The original Aerogarden Harvest stays on for 15 hours and off for 9.

Great video, thanks for sharing! What would you suggest for a first time experience? Click and grow looks more noob-friendly.

You're welcome and thank you for watching. The click and grow is probably the easiest one. Once it's set up you only need to water it when the float drops which for me is about once a week.

@@YourEverydayJoe that's good to know! what about the types of crops? what yelds the most? I was thinking to grow cherry tomatoes and maybe baby carrots.

@rolanderdei2135 I have tried the mini tomatoes they seem to yield ok but take a couple of months, haven't tried carrots. Although the herbs and lettuce seem to grow quick. I will be trying the peppers when my current harvest is done.

I ordered the Click n Grow system as I like the less mtce. with it. I do like the adjustable light on the AG. I have been going to ask since the AeroGarden video...when you harvest the lettuce, do you cut to the base of the leaf? And at what point do you re-pot new? With the mint, I was just plucking a few leaves at a time. Thanks Darlene

When I harvest the lettuce I try to wait until it is nice and full, then I just cut to the base and make a full salad and pot a new seed pod in its place. As for herbs I just pluck what I need and keep it growing. Thanks hope you enjoy it🙂👍

They both work well. The Click and Grow has less maintenance and AeroGarden is more hands on. The pods for the AG are much cheaper!

    Hi, Joe !
Excellent review on these products, I have these two because of your past separate review on them. I mostly have parsley, cilantro, basil and some thyme, I do have other seeds but they are growing more slowly than the herbs like tomatoes and dill ( mostly because I use a lot). I wish I could afford the big, big stackable smart one. 😊 And you do appreciate them more in the winter because they're inside the house. Oh, I remember the mint leaves a wonderful thing to have in your pods.

Thanks Bill. I would love the wall unit myself. Been thinking about getting a larger unit for the winter to try growing some vegetables. 🙂👋
