CutBrik also makes great saws in Portugal... I got a 36", and a 21" and 4 blades for $21 at Lee Valley on sale a while ago. The frames are simpler than the Bahcos but they are more foolproof, and even more affordable. I think Bahco may have outsourced the blades to CutBrik.
Also, FYI, Barco makes some decent, American made axes, slightly lower in quality than Council Tools regular line, although there are some Chinese made ones in their line that aren't good. On the other side, Bahco has some German made axes as well that are sometimes inconsistent on quality control, but are usually quite comparable to the old German Standard Helko axes.
Good lord, that 30" is a hoss. I debated between the 21" and the 24" and went with the 21". It does what I need it to do. Still 10X better than the chinese junk. Should last a lifetime
I can’t get the blade off. I unscrewed the wingnut but the blade is still too tight. I don’t want to bend the blade trying to force it off. Any suggestions?
There is a flap on one side of the cover. Roll that back, and you can easily get it on and off. In fact, I store two blades in mine. Once on, the flap snaps back in place.
hey bud, i truly dont want to bash you, but i dont see how you can give a review when you never used this saw before. no marks on the thing what so ever. just saying, doesnt look good for you if your doing a review with a brand new tool and not even used it. i see your other reviews of other things and i see you actually use them so i dont doubt that you do. maybe use those in your reviews instead of a new one

Have it, love it!
Looks like a great saw, is the blade 1 inch wide from the tips to the spine? Thanks for sharing

Have the saw. Love the saw. BUT, how to put that blade cover back on??? Drives me crazy can never put it back on.
