Hi girly! Here's why it feels like you're missing moolah. Your bills added up to $2252 (you caught the mortgage issue and IDK where you got the extra $35 from unless you double counted your internet), and your ally portion added up to $1405. Grand total of $3657. When you were counting the bills, you double counted a single dollar, which meant you calculated $3656, but you really do have $3657. Also, you did do the math correct on the taxes! 800 is correct on what you needed to take to the bank. Oh! And on your baby binder car envelope, you wrote $15 but there's actually $16. Hope this helped! Love you and your vids!! 💛
@@LilyBudgetswasn't sure if it was a new thing since most people exchange for 20s and it was just a better spot to grab them vs don't pull 10s so much
Hey girl, something you could have done to make things simpler would be to transfer the money from bank/ally $500 (placeholder) and pull 4 100’s from taxes envelope, then just write down what you did and what to transfer to pay quarter taxes. That equals to $900. Then the rest of the cash you could condense. Hope you caught your mix ups. 💛💛💛
Hello new cash budgeter here ❤ I’ve never done a bill condensing and I’m still a bit confused. So basically we take out the money from the envelopes we want to condense and take it all to the bank and then give them the denominations I need to place in my envelopes or use place holders. Is that right? 😅
You can use place holders based on what you don't want at home. Ex. Let's say you have 1k in emergency in cash you can use that to condense all your other binders but at the end you should still be taking 1k to your bank. Some do it by 100, 500, or 1k. Just depends on your preference. Now if you have bill money that needs to go back to the bank you can use that as well to cash condense. But some do also go to the bank and pull out cash by 100, and some smaller demoninations to cash condense. I personally use my bill money to cash condense my sinking funds and take that to the bank.
