- The pickup truck spectator drags usually get pretty wild but this one got extra crazy. Thankfully everyone was ok!
Street legal pickup trucks racing one-on-one on the oval for one lap at a time. Double eliminations, lose twice go home. The final two trucks remaining race the best 2/3 to determine the champ!

Love the blue 73-79 square body chevy. Sucks to see it get hurt but thats what can happen in racing and its nice to see the owner doesn't get mad and keeps having fun. Replace the bedside and taillight and a little paint and she'll be mint again
These races bring true meaning to the saying, "If your not first, you're last."
All good things must come to an end. Some badass racing here and over the years, especially with the black SS. Guys like this are what keep this sport alive.

@@scottwhite5367 Maybe you should pay better attention. White truck has zero situational awareness. He was behind anyways. He could have given the blue truck more room instead of driving into the side of the blue truck. No REAL driver with any experience would have done that.

And they keep racing that blue truck that can’t even hold it straight. After he almost hit my truck the first time I would have said NOPE!
I feel bad for the guy in that white truck. That was one heck of a race and it’s such a shame that it had to turn out that way. Unfortunately they know the risks when entering an event like this, just glad he was ok.
Not a very good move on the guy with the blue truck to push that hard on the inside of the turn sliding like that

Truck will be attempted to get fixed... Sucks the dirt up high didn't help either of us on getting sideways. Just collected each other at that point. Oh well fun of racing

Were there any changes to your truck recently Kyle? Always nice to see you there. Looked quicker tonight. Both you and Jeff looked quicker. A good run and either one of you may be able to take down Chris. Sucks you didn't get the opportunity and Jeff was either shook up and probably rubbing, if Jeff can even get shook up to begin with. I sense that they asked Chris to throttle back and make it close, as I noticed at the recent Oxford race and Beech has done the same to other undefeated champs.
Nihalanth just different tires n some adjustments then a transmission tune. It's always had good power just struggled hooking up

It’s a Silverado 1500 SS. They come full time all wheel drive. Nuanced difference, but different. Check them out as they are pretty unique and sweet. The biggest difference is the way the power is split between 4x4 and AWD in this case.
Poor Chevy..... Hopefully he can fix it and come back and race it again! Loved watching it run!

That driver in the blue square body knew how to wheel
Kris has the smartest truck out there. That built transmission and AWD was a heck of a combination, sure the cam, heads and other engine mods helped but all around it had the wheelbase and handling for these races. It kinda sucks to see that SS go, maybe he will build a new one. God knows these boys aren't in it for the $1000 prize just to beat the bag out of their trucks.
Even though they crashed that tandem was still sick for those few seconds!
I read the headline and though the IDEA was to lasso a spectator and drag them the quarter mile. Whew!
I like those Chevy square body models. They built those from 1973 - 1991, except the half ton & three quarter ton regular cab pickups were discontinued in 1987 & the one ton regular cab pickups were discontinued in 1989.
Very fast and efficient response team this event has.
I love how dangerously deep the finish line is for these trucks especially! Every finish is an oh shit moment.

That 1st race between the black SS Silverado and that blue C10 was exciting! First time i see that black Chevy lost against another truck. That C10 is beautiful and fast as f*ck!

@@Koogz406 ik its diesel but its kinda like the 7.3 powerstrokes. They are known to last for a long long time but they are slow unless u upgrade them. My uncles 7.3 has almost 550k miles and still run and drive great. I have a friend that abused his 7.3 and it finally blew at just 800k miles

When he wadded up that Chev I literally said out loud "Oh NOooo" that sucks. I've rebuilt a few of those, they're not hard to fix but it ain't cheap.🇺🇲
Best one i seen st our track a guy jad a beefed up 390 in a full size bronco with wide tires. He somehow launched in low range and shifted to high range then shifted gears, if would leap like a frog and get through 1 an 2 slightly pushing, speed into 3 an 4 it would push up to top of track so you didn't want to be on outsode of him. A 71 corvette was beside him one night with a souped up engine. Uncapped headers. It was on outsode, the lauch neck and corvetter was high in 1 an 2 bronco billy doesnt hit but close, corvetter pulls him fown back stretch, dives in 3 an 4, bronco dives in botton, sliding up, corvette hesitates some and bronco slides up onto his drivers door, they spin around and bronco goes across line first, covetter pulls up to finish line gets out and hits the bronco driver. Fight was stopped. When corvette pulls in pits i looked at it and it was all rubber from bronco billys wide tires! So it marked it but didnt tear the paint, was able to buff it out. Corvette never returned, another guy in a v8 vega could beat anyone by 6 car lenths but floats in carb would act up in corners, and by the time it recovered, it was neck and neck across finish line. We told him to raise your float level in your Holly for that. He just quit doing it! Not a smart thing to do if you dont want your car messed up! Those banked curves mess up drivers logic not use to it!

Kris has always raced fair... Fact I've never have beat him and I always was trying to step up being 2wd... Getting faster every time with different setups. I knew I wouldn't beat him that night but still. An it's true parts from his truck will be going into mine for the rebuild!
