- Kalaw is a hill town in the Shan State of Burma. It is located in Kalaw Township in Taunggyi District.
The town was popular with the British during colonial rule. Kalaw is the main setting of the novel "The Art of Hearing Heartbeats" by Jan-Philipp Sendker.
The hill station is located at an elevation of 1320 metres, 50 km from the Inle lake.
I like these tractors they are very useful for transportation ,and working great on fields.
Love watching your video. Thanks
How love how simple and useful their tractors are
Very nice video...and people are so simple...I like it.

This made me smile a lot!
Du lịch Myanma qua màn hình cũng thú vị !
Many Asian countries have vehicles similar. I have lived and worked in Cambodia for the past 18 years. Vehicles like those shown here are manufactured locally. Some are quite sophisticated!
Gives a new meaning to the family truckster!
Tht was brilliant modification by those people...congrtz to them

Love you from sri Lanka 😗
Modified vehicles are very helpful for transportation of a good idea.
The power source is a “water pump” engine attached to home made carrier that transport people and products which is a common sight also in the rural areas of the Philippines 🇵🇭..!!
They call it KULIGLIG.!!
and very useful..!!
Right that is kuliglig 🇲🇲🇲🇲
I'm never going to complain about how slow my Chevy is anymore... LMAO 🤑
Amazing trocter
Wow, these are vehicles like from a "Mad Max" movie or something like this!
people are happy with the little that they have unlike some rich people that have all the modern things and are not happy .. goes to show that being humble and contented is all that we need in this short life .
If Myanmar (Burma) wasn’t ruled by Military Government in 1962 they won’t drives that tractors in 2020
I'm from Indian I love Myanmar
None of these are antique cars. They are all modern day farmers vehicles, tractors and iron buffaloes modified into whatever. Common sights in rural Thailand, Burma, Cambodia. Innovation at the survival level. Brilliant!
Good luck until the destination.
Friends its not about who you are is what you are.Smart things cant make a better man of you.
I doubt that these types of cars existed in my country in late 19th or early 20th century. from Malaysia
Good video, but these aren't antique cars. Most of these are tillers (walking tractors) which are able to attach either farming implements or wagons.
Eightosaurus Spelunk uuh
SARCASM what the fuck DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND
Beautiful culture and people.
I'm regretting for what I always not grateful in my life..after I see this video

Ternyata di Myanmar banyak orang pakai sarung juga hehe...
These type of vehicles are operating in India for the last more than 40 years, these vehicles operates in villages, to carry passangers and for goods transportation purpose.
Wow good technology
Is it Myanmar's submarine?
Wow what a road!
India would love cars as good as this. Better than travelling on a cow.
My country 30 years ago like that
Everyone waves :o) You Don’t realise how miserable everyone is in the UK until you watch this :D
Wow k love this things👍
Front wheel drive (FWD)
Great ! I would like to see this village in 2019. I am sure they have progressed. At 3:10 the moto-taxis are lined off.......common in many 3rd world countries.
they called myanmar lamboghini
very good ...... from pakistan
your village is very awesome.I guess your favourite people working hard to solve the life
Still number one.
These are not taxies. These are their buses. Very simple but happy life
Wow
I love to drive that
vui quá
great fun video! :D
Creative
Good job..
These cars are not antique, they are very modern locally built cars running on a Chinese multi-purpose engine.
Exacto!
And those things go over terrain that would ground a UK car. 3 people in front and 10 in the back too, you'd need a PSV license here. So you see, it is possible to live without all the rules and regs.
Anthony Parker, But in most instances. You trade less regulations & rules, for poorer countries & a lot more people.

Yeah but look at the people....that is not living...it is dying slowly from either diphtheria, flu, parasites,or starvation.
PHOTOCOPIES of TIMES ... i have seen enough videos like this , like a book the chapter one or the existence of a particular place the muddy road the market and the characters until the final chapter in relative to growth of the nations and increasing populations, seems there are semblance of similarities ... i observe just like this i have seen it ... kalesa horse driven cart with gasera in both sides ngayon nga wala na and the uncemented road and the mode of transpiration is kareta now with modern technology to cope with time they put engine on it
ow.... what a lovely life...
Good
I was hoping for some old cars but didn't see a single one
That Java back in 80's
The first one was a tractor with the take-off cobbled to a drive shaft and axle.
Wow.. this is not an Antique car guys.. but its a dangerous car..
Miss guiding title! For something to be an antique it must be more than 100years.just saying... Otherwise nice video, Burma is a beautiful place to visit:-)
Nice place barmma
How fast it can go on the road?
David Lor 🐌🐚🐢🚜
at least you won't have to walk.
Lol they used power tiller as a taxi🤣
Antique cars?? I don't think they r antique cars. They r small farm tractors(power tillers) if I'm not wrong.
It's not how it looks it's how I get you there
Use what you got, make do, innovate, getter done.
