- Due to my friend's kindness and sharing, my 2020 trip to Ghana was successful. I hope you enjoy his amazing house which is under construction but almost done. Thanks bro for the tour and making your artisans available.

This is a gorgeous house with a well thought out design. The feature walls in the living room and the shelving are so interesting, as well as the wooden floors. I am interested in knowing who did this beautiful landscaping and wardrobes. Well done and enjoy your dream home.

Saw this video appear on my phone via a UA-cam alert a few days ago while out and about..............and I literally screamed,
as I recognised it immediately!!
As would have been pointed out here by other contributors, this lovely house is in TDC's new C24 residential area, which is
situated off the motorway, just prior to arriving at the Ashaiman toll bridge from the direction of Accra Mall.
In answer to one of the points or queries raised by one of the viewers here, TDC have set the ground rules for the type of
buildings that should be constructed in each designated section of their C24 development and in this particular section, this
is stipulated as 2 storey houses, as far as I'm aware.
There are areas designated for bungalows etc and so you won't find anyone constructing buildings that are not in sync with
the neighbouring properties. There is consistency and uniformity, which adds to maintaining the beauty of the place. And
certainly, no one is permitted to construct some shack on their plot to degrade the beauty of the area.
So how do I know this property and area? Well, I also happen to have purchased a few lands from TDC in this same area and
not only that, but I also visited this property a few years ago when construction had just started and I was visiting the C24 site.
I was very impressed with its design and subsequently requested and got to meet the architect, Peter (surname witheld for privacy).
I'm so pleased to see the house finally completed and being made available for the rest of the world to see and admire.

One cannot give a blanket cost. It depends on your requirements, both the exterior and the internal finishings.

This is a very beautiful house. If possible, please consider planting fencing trees such as Juniper trees.
Because the nearby plots are undeveloped, having these trees that grow tall will prevent dust marks on your building. This will save you from the need to regularly paint ( especially when construction begins on the other nearby plots)
Because if the wide spread of branches and talk heights, the Juniper trees also offer privacy.

There are zoning regulations stipulated by Tema Development Corporation, which sells these service plots. Therefore, there are specific areas allocated for two storey buildings and one level buildings.

Just curious as to why properties are totally walled in? Can you have some type of fencing at the front that allow views of the road? From the first floor all you see is the walls.
Security...its like that everywhere in most of Africa
@@originaldelta I believe these security fences are not really necessary, but is an old habit that keeps being repeated. Other countries with low to moderate crime levels like Ghana do not go to such lengths as making secured compounds with cement fences and bars on the windows so perhaps Ghana should give its people a chance.

@@denniscasely-hayford3245 The workmanship is very well crafted. It's good to know that one can get local Ghanaians to make furniture up to good standard. I just thought that was not a possibility.
@@blackgirlinindia The knock on Ghanaian carpenters is the finishing. However, there are a few in the system who are good. If you are lucky to find these exceptional carpenters, like I did, count yourself lucky. Some people have kitchens made of compressed saw dust and chip board, because the finishing looks nice. But, there is nothing better than natural and real wood, if you can find the right carpenter with the requisite finishing skill set.

Nice house with small mistakes. lazy painters who left without cleaning. The staircase is poorly done 8:02. that is why they place handrail on both side is just waste of money.

This video was taken before the final painting. The house is still under construction.
@@denniscasely-hayford3245 Is about the way they cast staircase. If you look careful at window. You can see that there is a space between the window and staircase. It dangerous not to place other handrail there. That is the reason why both handrail was place.
@@kwabenatree I don't get your point. Some staircases are designed to have handrails on both sides. It's obvious from the video that it is a spiral staircase.
