- A Trip from Las Vegas to Kenny Earl's Hot Rod Shop in Arizona for a Pre- Rat City Rukkus Show i believe Called Road to Rukkus . What a great lil meet we followed a group of Rat Rodders out of Las Vegas Through the Desert to Arizona to See Some Awesome Rat Rod Examples and Some Awesome Burgers supplied by our Host Kenny Earl's. Thank you Brotha it was Blast. Can't wait for "Road to Rukkus 2019" yeah Buddy ;)

I find it funny how people will hate on someone for using newer style wheels but don`t have a problem with a modern engine or airbag suspension. Those wheels fit his build. Get over it. Just be creative and have fun!

The modern wheels are ok. It's a way to go - gotta keep an open mind about these things. That's the heart of this hobby/pastime/obsession/sickness. I myself am planning to rat out a 79 ford courier. Got some neat ideas I can't wait to try out. Lotta folks might not go in for that, which is totally on them for their lack of flexibility & vision. Infinite diversity in infinite combinations.

Creative folks. I like the wheelbarrow body on the small rat bucket. I can't decide on the modern wheels on the rat rod. They look kind of good. I'm a street rodder from way back, decades before the rat rod fad (which I like by the way). The criticism back in the day was for those who trailered their rods to events instead of driving them.. I have a greater fondness for the cars that are driven to the events.. Just sayin'... I know some folks have their reasons. I'm not judging them, but a rod that's driven in is more impressive to me than one trailered in.
The modern wheels look right at home on the right rat. Works in this case. For me it has to be low ride though. Then again, Never hating someone’s creativity. If they like it and drive it, they deserve accolades.

Traveling multi states is on example, an some prob aren't legal in some lol maybe ?

Well I tell ya,,,, I don't know about anyone else but I don't believe in trailer queens,,as for the wheels,,, I liked'em!!! But to each their own I say!! RAT ON!!!

im with yah, i went on 2 guys walking away as was walking up they said ford i saw the funky blue assumed theyy were right and kept talking lol, i was wondering when someone was gonna catch that lol
The definition of a rat rod is a ride made up of old parts you laying around it does not say the min age of the parts you can use is 19?? it is old parts they may be newer parts on that rat rod but other than the rubber do you know the age of the rims. I know it is pushing it a little bit I personally kind of don't mind the rims.

when it comes to cars some folks are very touchy i like to egg'em on vbecause i know folks are touchy lol, i like all rides some are meant to be made fun of some are awesome its just how it is, but i likem all for the most part ;)

Thanks, it really was an awesome trip well worth the ride , i think i will be goin back next year, Kenny Earls gives back to the youth has a jr hot rod class teaches the kids how to build Hot Rods
Hate modern wheels on a rat rod almost as much as I hate to see a rat rod on a trailer. Rods wants to be drove!
I probably ought to note that I make exceptions when the hauling truck is also a rod, like the cabover ramp truck or the C30 hauling the Gremlin.
i know but a few of these are traveling a few states , all were getting ready for Rukkus in Vegas , i posted that video already , you will like the rides

Don't like modern wheels, don't like trailer Queens , I drive and or ride from Qld Australia to Vic Aust just to got to a party and that's 2,000 Kl , and I'm Old
your roads are more open doesnt take an hr to go 20 miles at times it does here tho, these cars are fast and cool but not good in stop an go for long periods to much TRaffic here an i do believe the trailered ones were on tour multi states no excuses but the states aint the same ;)
