The funny thing about the tesla driver: You need to apply a slight turning force every so often,or the car just slows to a halt,he either A:had a perfect driving record with the tesla,unlocking the full self driving beta or B:somehow still had a firm grip on the wheel in his sleep
Tesla turns off autopilot if car is about to wreck so it's not autopilot fault if an accident happens. I wouldn't trust such a slimy company with such a ceo who encourages such slimy behavior.

My husband and I flipped our Jeep Patriot falling asleep at the wheel. We had our 3 month old son in the car with us. We were both exhausted from all the doctors appointments and the constant 2-3 hour feedings. We both fell asleep and woke up seconds before the car landed upside down. We were all uninjured, thankfully, but the paramedics said that if we flipped once more, none of us would be here. The roof was completely smashed in and I had glass shards flying at my eyes. The pavement was 3 inches from my face. I still can't believe we made it out alive.
I had that experience once when I was a kid, I slept in a hotel room with the tv on and two men came barging into the room waking me up. Later, I found out that they were the hotel staff and my father was knocking the door for 20mins straight. I found myself being surrounded by people wanting to know if something happened

The guy with the Tesla and falling asleep behind the wheel while the car is in motion may have sleep apnea. He needs a sleep analysis to get a CPAP to get quality sleep. I used to be bad at falling asleep behind the wheel because of sleep apnea. When I began to drive, I struggled to stay awake because I was locked in a position with limited action and the fatigue from not having a quality sleep, no matter how long I slept. So, just because technology allows for a self-driving car does not mean you can sleep behind the wheel. The man is in denial or doesn’t realize he had a sleep issue because he had been cited for more than once by the police. He’s not only a danger to himself but to the public at large.

I managed to fall asleep standing up at work. I was washing some dishes and just asleep standing up. My manager shook me awake. :/

On the way to the workplace I'd always fall asleep from waking up early to get ready for work. She would just leave me in the car and get my rest but she had to leave the car open so when I woke up I could just open the door and go to her office. Just in case she locked the door while I was in there, she gave me the key. But other times she left me inside the car, locked and when I woke up I had to bang on the door for someone to let me out. Good times lol.

That fire was set by teenage boys. It caused so much damage, those firefighters really worked hard to save the area as well as they did.
