Ah, so you guys are finally doing the new Sunarizamon line. I will preface this now, I actually am not as excited as I thought I would be for this. Individually I like all the parts, but as a line, not impressed. Sunarizamon: A digimon introduced in 2020 as part of the Nature Spirits Pendulum Z Vpet. It was not a main star of the Vpet, so it didn’t have a full line in that one. It took about two years when it was the star of the Titan of Dust DIM card for the Vital Bracelet which gave us its first evolution line. While it can be argued for others in that line, Sunamon > Goromon > Sunarizamon > Golemon > Gogmagamon > Blastmon seems to be a thematically linked series of Digimon. Now having that line in Liberator could have been fine, but I was interested in seeing what they did with him. He is a funny little guy and as a new mon, it really only has had cameo appearances in Digimon media, so seeing it as a partner is interesting. Landramon: Now if you folks didn’t know, a design for a Digimon named Earthdramon won a contest many years ago alongside the concepts that would eventually become Mummymon, Honeybeemon and Flybeemon. It was supposed to be a complement for Airdramon and Seadramon, but never got made. When Landramon was revealed, a lot of fans kinda assumed that Earthdramon finally got its due. As a design, it is kinda interesting. I am not a big fan of it in a vacuum, but as a Sunarizamon Champion, it is quite nice. It is kinda just a bigger Sunarizamon, but some of its action poses in the card art gives it an interesting dynamic. It fuses itself with the sandy desert it lives in and I can see this creature as a RPG enemy. Not too bad, but the first art shown off does not do the Digimon justice imo. Proganomon: As a standalone, I actually quite like this. It's a turtle kaiju with drills for claws. That is freaking awesome! And as Tyler stated, I feel like as a line, this is not it. Its name comes from an ancient turtle, but I feel like that design is a better jumping off point for Tortamon, another possible evolution for Sunarizamon, rather than Landramon. Especially looking at the next Digimon in the line, this one seems to lack the throughline aspect of even having a connected line. Cause, we can have wacky stuff like a bird evolving into poop that evolves into an alien that eventually goes into a cyborg, but when you make a line such as this, I have an expectation that each part connects well to the next at least thematically. Landramon to Proganomon goes from sand to bedrock to sand again. If the next dood kept the color or something, I would have liked the line more. Pyramidimon: What can I say except “EXODIA! OBLITERATE!” This thing is what I assumed a pyramid based Digimon would be. We have Mummymon, Pharohmon and Sphinxmon, so adding a Pyramid Digimon just works. I can see this thing actually being the final part of the Mummymon line, being a further evolution for Pharohmon. This guy is just quite cool and I actually like em… just not as a mega for Proganomon. Now that my opinions have been expressed, I can see they do have one throughline, but its not enough imho. Its the claws. All three of Landramon, Proganomon and Pyramidimon have these drill bit claws in their design. It is too much of a small detail for me though. Kekekeke neat, no real notes this time.

I quite like the Ultimate stage. It hardens to work with the tougher materials at bedrock level, and creates the environments that its smaller forms can live in. What i don't like as much is that the Mega returns to the sand theme afterwards, that's what makes the Ultimate look out of place. Well, that and the fact that it's grey instead of brown. That said, if we view it like the FanBeemon line, then it could be more like the evolutions fill out an ecosystem or hierarchy rather than specifically being meant to flow from one form to the next.

Proganomon is deeply upsetting. Dude could have had the same color pallet as the rest of his line and he would have fit pretty well, but they just didn't do that. And that is bizarre given how this is a new Digimon and specifically created for a sand themed digimon line.
Yeah, I think if they made it browner to match Landramon's armor instead of grey, it would've been much better. And maybe just a bit of a hint that there's probably sand in that big body under all that armor.

I have seen some very good replicas, such as the bag I bought at kislux . The craftsmanship of modern replicas is becoming increasingly sophisticated, and they are within millimeters of each other. It is difficult to tell which ones are fake.
