Thousand Autumns Audio Drama Mini Theater: Shen Qiao's Snarky Roast (沈峤的吐槽)

吐槽 (tǔ cáo) is an internet slang that means to roast someone by finding a loophole within the other party's language or behavior in order to mock through emotions and questions.
娈宠 (luán chǒng) refers to an intimate male friend, beautiful male plaything (male prostitute), or lover; hence I'm translating it roughly as a boy toy.
殃及池鱼 (yāng jí chí yú) is a phrase from the idiom 城门失火，殃及池鱼 (chéng mén shī huǒ, yāng jí chí yú) which translates to “when the city gate catches on fire, the fish in the moat will also suffer.” This idiom came from a story that told of when the city gate caught on fire, the citizens of the city used the water from the nearby moat to quench the fire. Once the fire had been extinguished, the fish in the moat ended up dying in the process. This idiom is used to describe involving unrelated individuals in extraneous affairs, and inflicting pain or suffering on them.
煽风点火 (shānfēng diǎnhuǒ), 挑拨离间 (tiǎobō líjiàn), 唯恐天下不乱 (wéikǒng tiānxià bùluàn) are idioms that mean to fan the flames, sow discord, and see the world in chaos respectively.
口是心非 (kǒu shì xīn fēi) is an idiom that means to say one thing but actually mean another; such as being double-faced.
刮目相看 (guāmù xiāngkàn) is an idiom that means to open up someone's eyes, or see someone with new light.
不是一家人不进一家门 is an idiom that means two people who share similar traits are destined to be with each other, or people that don’t belong together won’t enter the same household. A rough English equivalent is the saying “birds of a feather flock together”. This expression originally referred to how a woman and her husband were fated to be belong together due to shared commonalities, and thus "enter the family through the same door".
