Well actually there is a small remaining population of 7 G&W mains still alive in the wild, although the genetic diversity is too slim and so there lineage is to extinction. If only we could preserve them if not only for our grandchildren.
Fun to come back and see the comments on videos like this. People just didn't understand the character. Received practically 0 changes and climbed to the top of the tier list. None of the buffs folks asked for were needed.

Incineroar, contrary to popular belief, is an extremely skillful character that requires a lot of patience. He does a lot of waiting, but once he gets in he gets DAMAGE.

I’m really glad this series is back. I still think it has a place in the community for sure. Well produced, good content, super helpful. It may not do numbers like it did because of how long it’s been, but I think it’ll pick up quick once people realize it’s back.

He is very interesting, has some very unique aspects, you could fit him into a theme of sorts and do the older more retro characters first with having just done game & watch! Particularly, I really want to know how the reflector on his side b works cause it seems super inconsistent.

Game and Watch imo is one of ultimate’s biggest success stories for better or worse. Seeing how he went from being considered low to mid tier with a bit of potential at the start of the game’s lifespan to being now top 10 is one hell of an improvement. Even tools thought to be mediocre or outright bad at first are now considered to be phenomenal and at least somewhat useful.
Zero mainly talks about tournament play. I think Pushblock even mentioned that Lucina is a bad match-up for G&W in his video. He can win but it will be much more a struggle than other match-ups.
I dunno about F-Air being bad as people say it is; Maister seems to use the move a lot when he plays, Snickledorf (another G&W player) said he actually feels pretty good about the move now, and Dabuz said it's really solid as well. Then again, I should probably keep quiet and let the move get buffed further; my main could always use more love X3
#pleaseanalyze Villager, there aren't all that many videos about him, and he's got some interesting moves, like the Lloyd Rocket being so slow that you can place it behind you to punish dashgrabs from fast characters, they simply slide into the projectile and go boom
My most Epic Gamer Moment was with Mr. Game and Watch. I was playing with my friends(it was my first time playing a smash bros. game) and I beat my friend with Mr. Game and Watch. My friends were so proud.
I’m going to throw in a bid that you do a complete guide for Incineroar next. There is NOT nearly enough information on this character and I watch far too many players in tournament play make poor decisions. A better, more fully developed understanding of this character is necessary for the community to develop. Please make this happen as more conventional fall backs, such as smash boards and kuroganehammer, fail to give newer players a full grasp of this character. I know you have a full plate with school, but I know that you efforts will be appreciated by the Incineroar community.
Okay as a longtime game and watch player, I would like to make the case that Fair is not a bad move. It is if u try to approach with it, Ive died a lot doing that especially early on. However, when your opponent wants to approach, it can be really annoying and if they try to hit it you can punish that, and if not they have to play around it. Definitely shouldn’t spam it in place, but while retreating, it can give you some breathing room. The other reason its kinda amazing is it works as a combo tool where you put the bomb, then go to where they get knocked back to (which takes a while to get the hang of admittedly and is inconsistent still) then you pretty much can do whatever you want. It’s like a doubles combo. I usually opt for grab if I’m chasing but if I beat them there, up smash is devastating. Fair is certainly far more situational like up tilt, but in the right scenario, I’d say its a better tool than any other option
You’ve done such an amazing job analyzing Game n Watch, very well organized and easy to keep up. Probably one of the best analysis videos I’ve seen. I mained Game n Watch back n Brawl and once Smash 4 he pretty much became washed up and one of my leash played characters. Ultimate really helped him out and he’s much more fun to play as.
Personally I think G&W should have a 2/5 in Defense, he may be super light and not have a lot of good out-of-shield options, but his up smash being invincible, bucket making projectiles almost useless against him, excellent crouch and great recovery are plenty to stop him from being a 1/5.
Ngl, I was worried for you about the analysis series and how it would affect your channel when the game finally came out. This video though has proved me oh so very wrong. Loved the video and is so descriptive and full of knowledge that most people's character guides don't even get close to. I really look forward to what these videos will bring in the future. For those of you who have trouble visualizing Game & Watch's kill power (like I did): his tilts and smash attacks (minus up-tilt) are on par with _Ike_ in terms of knockback, trading range for frame data
When Zero talks about characters, he speaks of them with the pro scene in mind. Tier lists can mean almost nothing outside of tournament play. That said, good analysis video. Pretty much all the data on G&W in 34 minute package that includes brief explanations on all of it.
#PleaseAnalyze Snake. He's an amazing character, has great results, and has a ridiculous amount of potential. He's able to be played numerous ways at the top level of Smash, as evident by the extremely different playstyles of Ally, MVD, and Salem. He's heavy-ish, slow-ish, but at the same time fast with the best normals in the game, some of the best specials, and surprisingly good aerials. His frame data is wild and could use a breakdown from you. Your videos are amazing and I hope you consider Snake as a possible candidate!

Awesome video! I've been playing G&W casually since Melee but maybe it's time I give 'em a longer look. Just a quick note in case you didn't notice during the premiere: The left and right side of the verdict bars at 31:45 have some colors/pixels that didn't get erased.
Very well-structured video, literally covers everything about the character. My only recommendation for the future is to adjust the brightness on your settings inside the game since the screen captured footage was very dark. At times I couldn't even see G&W, like in the clips where you were playing on omega 75m. And while you're at it, also adjust the screen size in the Switch settings so that you don't get the black borders around the gameplay. This is all assuming that the non-tournament footage was your own footage, if not then nevermind lol
I'm not too keen on Smash analysis but this is my boi we're talking about so I can make an exception! Edit: This was super neat! Might look more of them in the future! Also, G&W Gallery AND Wario Land 4 music, two things that Ultimate needs, hooray!

It's a very good pressure tool. You can just short hop f-air on the enemy and then just fall back due to the insane air speed.

This was a great Analysis! Very in depth, and does more than the majority of other reviews and such. Especially with how you also cover combos! Also, #PleaseAnalyze Pokémon Trainer. A really cool character. Well, really cool characters that I think a lot of people would like. Might be long seeing as there are 3 Pokémon.
