- When you lift up your voice to praise God, you are never alone...
Song: Night of Silence & Silent Night
Composed by: Daniel Kantor & Franz Gruber (respectively)
Performed by: Musicians of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis
Produced by: ReAwaken Productions
Lyrics:
Cold are the people, winter of life
We tremble in shadows this cold endless night
Frozen in the snow lie roses sleeping
Flowers that will echo the sunrise
Fire of hope is our only warmth
Weary, it's flame will be dying soon.
Voice in the distance, call in the night
On wind you enfold us You speak of the light
Gentle on the ear you whisper softly
Rumours of a dawn so embracing
Breathless love awaits darkened souls
Soon will we know of the morning.
Spirit among us, shine like the star
Your light that guides shepherds and kings from afar
Shimmer in the sky so empty, lonely
Rising in the warmth of your son's love
Star unknowing of night and day
Spirit we wait for your loving Son.
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Silent night, holy night
All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace
Sleep in heavenly peace.
For those that don't know, this video was shot over a period of two weeks, and ALL of the audio was recorded by those involved at home on their CELL PHONES. We then put everything together in post creating what you see here.
May all of you have a Blessed Christmas season!
Julia and Jonathan this is simply spectacular. So grateful that your parents shared it with me.

@@susanjones7764 Thanks Sue!
Thank you, diocesan musicians. Beautifully done!
This is my best friend and his wife
Magnificent!
Incredible!
This was beautiful and absolutely amazing!
Thanks Tina! This took a TON of work, so your comment means a lot. :)
Absolutely phenomenal! Great work!
Thanks Seth! I really wish we could've used the "hero shot" at Kellen's church for like half the video. The most painful thing about editing is all the good material that gets chopped up and left on the cutting room floor. With all the great material, we easily could've made a separate music video for each church. :)
@@jonathanvikesland609 From the looks of it you got plenty of great stuff! You used it well!
Beautiful! Your voices have captured the spirit of Christmas.
Thank you Sandy! We love seeing and hearing everyone sing together! Merry Christmas!
Spectacular video! Glad I could lend a helping hand!
Thank you so much Henry! With the tight timeframe we had shooting at the Cathedral your help was greatly appreciated. Merry Christmas!
Nothing short of Amazing!
Thanks for helping make this happen Matt! Next time we'll put you on a slider. :)
