I just want to thank you, it's so kind of you to actually do these papers and show us the method, I appreciate everything you do and I hope you enjoy the rest of your life, and once again THANK YOU SO MUCH. A student which you helped
Thank you, had done this as a mock, will be looking over it for revision again, will share to friends as well. Got a grade 8 so I'll be looking out for how to get a grade 9. EDIT: After doing paper 1 now, I've made some stupid mistakes and to get that grade 9 I'll have to compensate by getting extremely high in 2 and 3, but 8 is what seems to be going for me now, hopefully.
xJackalope because you can either use your answer to part a OR just simplify it like you normally would i did it how i normally would and got the same answer
Keewee OW How did u get a 9 I did this paper for my mock i got a 5 i really want a 7 U just did loads of practisce questions ? Maths is really hard. For me
@@SanaSheikh2011 I got a 7 in my mocks. My school provided us with *50* exam papers. I lost most of them. For revision, I strongly recommend Corbett maths (something like that). They helped me cram my revision and I honestly believe they are the best GCSE revision source out there. Check out their website.
At 33:02 it should be 4(n^2-n)+1.
I was about to comment the same thing
Yes it should

How’d it go?
Ty really helpful I go through the the paper myself then use these to check and see how to go through the the questions I got wrong
In my maths teacher's class maths genie is literally god. Thank you 🙏
I really appreciate the effort you’ve put into these. You are so kind for doing such a big job. Thank you!
Wow your videos are so amazing and useful thank you!
Question 6 really out here testing me.
@22:30, you could just use the formula
Base times height divide by 2
nxh dividing by 2 is the same as multiplying by a half
I'm doing resit but watching higher to see how difficult higher is
for question 20 could you do (n+6)(n-1)?
Why can't I find the mark scheme for this paper?
A it’s on the website but says June instead of may
Q19 could just be b=a
This is really helpful❤️ thank you
could someone tell me question by question what topic they are? please :)
13:36 wouldn’t it be 6x4 then /2. Thought it is perpendicular height?
Yes it would
31:01 don't u have to simplify to its simplest form? I got ACB = x - 45 help if this is wrong
While you multiply by 10 you did not explain in the ratio
33:05 did he not factorise it wrong
Yeah he did - this guy!
@@mathsgenie7808 no seriously did you lol🤔
I know, we all make mistakes!
@@mathsgenie7808 sorry if that sounded rude👍
@@animehub1611 no it's cool, it is my mistake.
12:10 it should be 5 cm height
54:10 Wait I thought we're supposed to multiply to make 6 and plus to make 5 so we get (n+6)(n-1)? Can someone please explain to me, I don't get it
No you multiply to get 5 and add to get -6
is the paper 2 of this set called june 2018 paper 2?? i am confusion
this is paper one
Please do Futher Maths a A-Level with revision of topics and Past Papers
21:22 How do you know which sides the question is on about? What if 30 isn't the hypotenuse
the hypotenuse is always the largest side
helped a lot
thank you
How'd you know the centre was -1, -2 for question 7?
That is because of the two lines of reflection
Wait there was supposed to be another question at the end
why for question 15 does it have the need to say hence, or otherwise, ... lol.
xJackalope because you can either use your answer to part a
OR just simplify it like you normally would
i did it how i normally would and got the same answer
