While the black one is gorgeous I definitely am going to order the beige one! It just looks like a smaller size that will take less effort and can be used as a easy fun project between bigger ones

HUGE Harry Potter fan here, too! Just bought a wonderful portrait of Albus and Minerva (50 x 60) and a 30 x 90 of the main Harry Potter characters. Can't wait to start them!!!

I'm a Hufflepuff! I think I actually like the beige one more!? Maybe because it's not going off the edge? After seeing this and that the back isn't all colorblocked I think you just sold me on it!

I'm a full fledged Hufflepuff. I do prefer the the smaller one with more background, but do like the vibrant colors of the black one.
I actually like the DAC dp as apposed to the Amazon. Happy Mother's day 💓

For the crest I find the black one the best if I look at the animals, but for the flowers and the background I love the beige one the most.
I like the subtle background on this, and felt like the black one had too much floral. I am disappointed that I won't get points or discounts buying from Amazon, but hoping it's prime so at least free shipping is available.

Hi Katie. Thank you so much for this comparison. I had been vert curious about the Amazon kits. I did notice that some if them are smaller than what was on DAC website. I really appreciate this. They both look great. I do have the black one in my stash 😊
I love this kit! I got it from Amazon as well and a few others. I am also a Ravenclaw! I tested Slytherin as well but most of the times were Ravenclaw 😂. I ordered them directly from Amazon mexico and they ship without any issues. I also checked the Amazon US and they also ship internationally (at least to mexico).

I just watched the first movie for the first time a few weeks ago with my boyfriend and his mom, he's making me watch them all and he made me take the house test and I got Hufflepuff :D I do have the black version of this kit I got it for the pretty flowers 😅🥰
Have you started working on the beige one yet? Im keen to see how it looks completed before I decide lol I have seen the black one completed already but think I prefer the beige :)
Do you have any tips for working with square drills? I did one squares kit and I had trouble lining them up properly.
I found when doing color blocking that putting the drills down diagonally helped keep them uniform. It takes longer though because it's single placement
I think I prefer the beige version 🤔
Hi Katie! I checked the overseas shipping position for this kit on Amazon US as you wondered whether it would be available outside the US. It ships to the UK (at least) - the price is shown as $44.99 but I couldn't find out the shipping without getting too close for comfort to checking out my basket :-) I also noticed a couple of DAC kits on Amazon UK - not this one, but I think I checked when you did your original video about DAC on Amazon and the UK site had none then. So now they have two. The reviews are from the US and the details say they're US imports but they seem to be the real thing (going by price, anyway - I know Amazon reviews quite often relate to totally different products).
I want black but can’t find it 😮

Can never find them on Amazon UK site as have searched + searched for them, following your link none of their kits ships to my address in Northern Ireland unfortunately 😥
