For the people who know how deep Azn and Farmtruck go in the 405 scene, this should hurt, because there would be no 405 without them. They were there since day 1, pinks all out, with the nitrous Fox body, hustling. Glad they got their own gig going on, they deserve it and more.
I remember the farm truck out on Saturday nights 20+ years ago. It doesn't get more OG.

I grew up with these 2 and at their house every weekend. And they are so wholesome. So many memories.
A couple of months back, Big Chief was on Limpy's show and told him the story of the first TV experience for the 405. He gave all credit to Azn for making their appearance on 'Pinks' happen. I get that some people didn;t care for Farm Truck and Azn, seeing them as a comic relief type duo, but I like knowing that if it weren't for Azn's desire to get on that first show, and the work he put in to make it happen, none of the 'Street Outlaws' based shows would even exist right now.
They are the Curt Flood of street racing on TV. They did the heavy lifting, everyone else reaps the big money rewards.
You guys was the reason I kept watching. Win or loose it didn't matter. 405 went to shit when y'all left so glad y'all are back. You guys are 405.
Most honest interview / chat I have seen come out of the 405. No trying to cover up the reality of it. Props to you guys. I hope you did well.

You guys are the reason why street outlaws is fun. When it got to serious its not good television. I'm happy to see you legends back on the show because you definitely are as OG 405 as it gets.
When I was watching that show, the only four people I was interested in watching were you two, Shawn and Dave. You four seem to be the most real of the bunch without much of an act. That's why I still watch all four of you here on UA-cam. Everyone that races, knows a Shawn, a Dave and a Farmtruck and Azn! Everyone!

A lot of people dont understand the “sleeper” mentality. Most people know what it is, but they dont understand the mentality, or the satisfaction that comes from that way of living/racing. Its fun to be underestimated and then put the smack down on overconfident people. Thats why we know what fna means when they say theyre “goin out fishin”.
It is like back in December 1970 my dad special ordered a 1971 Plymouth Duster 340. He ordered full vinyl roof, stripe delete. He wanted to make as much of a "sleeper" back then. It was one of those family cars back then that held it's ground.
Agreed but sleepers aren’t sleepers anymore. Everyone knows about sleepers and suspects every plane Jane car or rusted shit box to have 1000+hp. It’s to the point when I see a Prius next to me I hang my head out the window and yell “ONE, TWO, THREE!!!!!” and step on it at two.😂
Right, nothing says sleeper like a truck with bead lock wheels, big tires, and 900 cubic inch big block... Clearly YOU do not understand what a sleeper is either.
Street racing is built on the "sleeper" concept. It's a game. Try and figure out what I got or them and do I/them think I can win. The show started this way but in short order all we are watching is IHRA pro mods with alot of bitching and crying

These guys are Genuine and that is the best human quality in my book, it should be about fun and the camaraderie just much as winning. These 2 guys would be the first 2 to answer there phone at 2 am to drive across the country to help a brother out!

As a veteran street racer of the 80's with my mentors having raced in the 60's, I just want you two guys to know how grateful I am to see good sportsmanship and fun being your focus. Too many punks out there now. Too much ego and chest puffing. You guys remember that while winning is awesome, so is having fun. Thank you...🤠👍
I personally have missed you guys on the show. The funny moments you created broke the tension when it got heavy. They needed that. Glad to hear you'll be in the small tire show and can't wait to see it.

You two was a big reason I started watching Street Outlaws. It didn’t matter to y’all win or lose you had fun and being yourselves that’s what it’s about never change.
Deep down in my heart I feel like I knew this is what happened and it saddens me. With all the new people they bring on the show and even some of the OGs when somebody says 405 racing I instantly think of you guys first because of that all the people they've had on the show you guys are one of the only ones that seems like if I ran into you at Walmart that's how you would honestly be. Not some guy that became famous and now thinks he's the best thing in the world I could honestly see you guys stopping to help somebody with a flat tire where is some of the others I don't think they would give it a second look. So happy to have you guys back and can't wait to see the show!

You guys have always been the show for me. The enthusiasm, the antics, the creativity, while still having that feeling of competitiveness, are all the things that embody street racing to me.
The reason why I like y"all so much is because you were just having fun. Not the fame or money. You kept it real. Most of the 405 crew have lost sight of that over the years and y"all didn't. Love the content.

I was the opposite. I wasnt a fan of the parts with them in it...but i do like them to be on the show. It got too hokey

Big chief turning on everyone and becoming a greedy slob was the downfall, the fame went to his head. These guys were the comic relief from all the fake drama

I like these guys but their part of the show got too silly for me so I just skipped their scenes

I think it sucks that you guys were basically kicked to the curb. I love watching you two compete and have fun with the 405 crew and I'm glad your back. I was tired of watching the show because it was the just the 405. Now it looks like the show is going back to its' roots and will be worth watching.
I'm glad to hear they invited you guys back, truth be told, you guys always represent the 405 in my book! I personally loved it way back when the farm truck was the gate keeper before you could call out the #10 spot. Keep doing you guys!

As with every motor sport. Once the money comes out its no longer a poor mans sport and tougher and tougher to run with em. Drag racing, dirt track...ect.

@@TheH10ne also Ryan is on the show longer than people think, who do you think fixed the senoma EVERYTIME Dave blew it up and then when Jackie tried driving it it barely made a pass, I don't think he purged it before rolling in, each time you get pressure up you have to rev the engine or a blowback...I'm not 100 on that it's just from watching other NITROUS combos...
Hearing Murder and Ryan were the ones who wanted you back makes me root for them that much more
You guys were one of the main reasons I use to watch the show. I met these 2 guy's in Jupiter fl NPK and they talked to everyone unlike some of the other drivers much respect guys

I totally agree with you AZN ... the show definitely DID take on a much "Darker" feel. You and Farmtruck brought an everyman REAL feel to the show. That was something that was relatable and enjoyable. When you guys left, that left with you. Glad to see you're back. Been following you guys since the days of "Pinks", you're 2 of the OG 405 guys, and your presence and humor were sorely missed as part of the show which the 2 of you DEFINITELY helped popularize and put on the map!
You guys will ALWAYS have a fan in me!!! You are true STREET RACERS and not guys that build what are essentially strip cars that happen to run on closed off public roads. KEEP IT REAL!!! (from a DFW "Glory Days" street racer - Luna Rd, NW Hwy, Manana, California Crossing!!! Circa late 80's-early 90's)

And "build" is debatable. Most of them don't/can't even build their own motor. Most buy a motor from Shafiroff or BES and just install it; same with the trans & axle.
Gone are days of a builder/racer built car.

Lots of us down south here gave up on the street outlaws. My opinion street outlaws is a bunch of cars for the track not what we street race. But we still follow these 2 genuine guys. Street outlaws isn’t street. The street cars is what you drive to the street race not trailer queens than aren’t street-able.
Farm truck and AZN are always the OG 405 because if you can’t have fun doing what you do then what is it. They always are having fun and winning while doing so. Much luck hope to see you on the streets.

Farmtruck and AZN , you both have given me a lot of laughs and some 'Oh hell no" moments on camera as the 2 outside the box racers for the 405 . I noticed everyone else trying to go "Pro" but you guys stayed down to earth street racers and as an old retired street racer who tried the tracks a few times , you gained my respect. From one Okie to another , keep up the good work !

I’ve always enjoyed the sleeper mentality. I remember when street outlaws first came out and going fishing had a whole new meaning. Street racing to me is a car that you drive on the street for the street. Not a closed road with cars that have engines and setups that cost more than a mortgage.

A cousin of mine here in Oklahoma recently won a race against Murder Nova. I knew his mustang was fast, but I was impressed when he won that race. I have yet to see that race on the Street Outlaws show, but it's nice to know he will get some recognition.
On that note, Street Outlaws (just like any other show) became a victim of money and fame. A lot of the racers lost themselves and submitted to their lesser side. Props to Farmtruck and Azn for sticking to their original selves and not selling out. Good luck!

Won’t count for much , but I used to love seeing you guys on the show. As soon as I saw you were both up to something, I would think, “what the heck are those two up to now.” I am sad that you guys were pushed out and felt like you weren’t wanted on the show, and I am glad that you have found a way back. I can understand when it comes to "out of town" or "team against team" racing....you would only bring your fastest racers. Any team would do the same, but you should have been there anyways to flag or help/support your team. The 405 fan base is what this all started from and you can't think of the 405 without think of FarmtruckandAZN. Glad your back....
Lose or not I always enjoy watching the Farmtruck race. I remember watching it on UA-cam years back before Street Outlaws was a thing. I was blown away that a heavy truck like that could lift the front tires. Good luck #farmtruckandazn

Shawn jacked the OG up and took the small rims and tires off it to loan James so he could run a race, not being filmed, nothing to do with tv, and it was after James stopped filming.. What you call a thing Shawn started, lol. Ryan and Shawn came to Jame's and said look, we want you back on the show, this is what's up, and now he's back on filming. One man's EGO running around staring shit can and did ruin a lot of things. James held top 5 for a long time. I mean look at Shawn leaving BC garage, to many signs point to one ASS-HOLE.

Farmtruck and Azn are the most relatable guys and the only reason I ever really watched. It's cool watching drag races but it's even better watching someone doing it and having as much fun as they appeared to be having. Win or lose they're always memorable
I honestly stopped watching the show after the started doing the spin offs. I loved what the show originally was and it was something that my dad and I bonded over back when we didn’t have a lot to bond over and I appreciate and love you guys for that.
The beginning of this story is sad to me. You two were honestly the reason why I watched this show. You two are the entertainment, and I went out to meet you guys in person. I never cared to meet anyone else. You guys are the best! keep up the fishing and your attitudes!
