Among Esports drama that I've watched, Falling Into Your Smile is now my favorite. The chemistry between the leads was just so natural and Lu Si Cheng was just so irresistable. The only flaw of this drama is having only 31 episodes, because I want more.

I left it after ep 16 because it is getting boring because they are mostly focused on the romance and I watched enough romantic drama so I feel bored watching after same thing again and again.

Other than FIYS, "The King's Avatar" is good too. It's all about e-sport and friendship. It's my all-time fav esport drama before FIYS came lmao

@@illegallyyours I really like both too but at some points in Go go squid I wanted to burn the male leads clothes because he wore the same shirt constantly, and sometimes the female lead was not so smart for someone with a 140 IQ - so for me Falling into your smile wins out (despite the female leads lack of facial expressions) but only just...both are great. Love both male leads, and the chemistry between both couples and will check out their other dramas now.

Falling Into Your Smile focuses more on the game itself and of course we can't forget CS & XK that is very sweet on and off cam. Anyway, unlike any other drama FIYS doesn't have a lot of sad scenes or scenes that make you annoyed and hate someone from the cast because of his/her role. I highly recommend Falling into your smile.

Yeah, you know mid episodes i was like this is going to be that typical cdrama that the 1st half of the episodes focus on what is about then the other half is him falling in love but kings avatar is not like other dramas (no offense), its was honestly a big surprice, and kings avatar should be the best because its really the only drama that is really all about e-sport and not half of the episodes falling in love
For me too king's avatar is the best e-sports drama...it's totally focused on e-sports n not other things

(It is not that expensive: I did that a year ago and have been thrilled to explore the catalogue, from which I was glued to screen since July for the 56 episodes of LLTG costume drama in Eastern Han dynasty with not too many lovey-dovey scenes, just enough of them & comedic elements, great batte scenes, wonderful cinematography... Just ended last week with a special release of the 8 last episodes for "express vip" users; it is up there with early 2022 time-loop drama Reset on my best of personal podium and LLTG has me now becoming a fan of Wu Lei -who played in Crossfire- in addition to Yang Yang and Xu Kai. So. I had not watched Crossfire : hurrying to watch it on YT, since it is there, contrary to The King's Avatar - there are only the OST songs for the latter, on UA-cam. )

After watching Kings Avatar, I realised why Yang Yang doesn't smile in any of his Dramas.. his smile made me fall hard in love with him. A must-watch series if you want to fall in love with him and the drama is very technical and total game-based but no romance

Falling Into Your Smile focuses more on the game itself and of course we can't forget CS & XK that is very sweet on and off cam. Anyway, unlike any other drama FIYS doesn't have a lot of sad scenes or scenes that make you annoyed and hate someone from the cast because of his/her role. I highly recommend Falling into your smile.
