Israel-Hamas Conflict: Arab nations gather to discuss Gaza ahead of WEF summit in Riyadh

It has been more than 7 months since Hamas launched a surprise attack on southern Israel killing 1,400 people. In retaliation, Israel pounded thousands of missiles killing almost 34,000 Palestinians including heavyweights of Hamas, and destroying infrastructures. Even after half a year, the situation remains grim and there are no signs of slackening hostilities. In this regard, dignitaries from Arab nations gathered in Riyadh on April 27 to discuss the situation in Gaza. Notably, the meeting came ahead of World Economic Forum (WEF) summit in the Saudi Arabian city. Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Al Saud met with several representatives from Arab nations.
