He had no business being out the league though. The truth is usually in between. I think Freddie Mitchell wasn’t liked and I always saw McNabb as sensitive. Mitchell may have wanted the ball all the time and McNabb spreaded it out as he should. McNabb only knows the truth. I didn’t watch Philly games week in n week out not being from there. At the time 40 mil sounds exaggerated.
Mcnabb had 3 fatal flaws.
He thought he was better than he was
He wasn’t clutch in big spots
He had thin skin
Andy had same flaws..
He called out Rodney Harrison before the Super Bowl, saying he only knew him as player number 37 and not by name. Harrison caught more passes in that Super Bowl than Mitchell. Mitchell had 1 catch, Harrison had 2 interceptions while defending Mitchell.
Mitchell is one of the rare players that Belichick completely trashed and had zero respect for.
In fact, I think Belichick let TO do his thing as long as it meant Mitchell was completely erased from the game.

He stopped his car and introduced his self to me and my friend and gave us a sign hat and a glove. That man is properly one of the reason me and my children now all bleed green. Maybe he did. But as far as his professional football career goes, he was 100 % a complete failure and a Draft bust. He was picked at 25 in the first round. When other really great receivers were still on the board. He blames someone else for his failure. He shot his mouth off from day one and never produced.

Freddie is in denial, he was an average player with average abilities. He ran a 4.47 40 and was only 5' 11" wide receiver that failed to get open. The only thing I can agree with is mcnabb's was a overly careful QB that threw few interceptions so sometimes didn't give his wide receivers a chance to make a play if they weren't open out of fear of throwing an interception. That being said, if McNabb would have accepted less money and stayed with the eagles, he would have won a superbowl and went to the hall of fame.
