Every time I hear one of these stories its like reading a good book. I can just visualize every detail . Having been to Thailand quite a few times helps with the visulization of these scenarios.

Remember taking a enlisted man (I was a Warrant Officer, we were temporarily duty for a week from Japan in 1982) with me to Thailand. After checking into the Honey Hotel on Soi 19 . I had been in Bangkok with the US Army from 1971 to 1975 knowing the Territory. Told home leave your bags, let’s go!! Taking him to the Grace Hotel coffee shop; still remember his eyes getting real wide!!! We both entered up taking one of the girls back to Honey hotel. So many memories. Thanks for your blogs!!!

Yeah I tend to agree I would have done the same Ed. 16:30 and I still got a hangover from last night, great stream,I was totally tipsy towards the end
The whole 'losing face' thing in Asian society honestly pisses me off a bit. If I wanted some really dumb forms of passive aggressiveness I'd just go home for the holidays!
Of course in the West we absolutely have our own problems just as bad or worse but directness and honesty are great qualities for all humans to have worldwide.

When i finally got my daughter situated into an apartment on her own which i had to co-sign for and also financed a new car for her i was ready to start traveling again. I wanted to go back to Southeast Asia but wasn't sure which country i wanted to go to first. I had a Thai friend who was a nurse in the states and suggested i try Thailand. I thought why not. She called a friend of hers and had him pick me up at the airport. He owned an apartment complex so set me up in my own apartment. We were going out nightly and partying and having a great time. We went to a club one night and i met this beautiful girl that i was quite attracted too. I asked her if she would like to go to Pataya for the weekend and she agreed. I asked if she had a friend that would go with my friend and she found a girl for him. We drove to Pataya and the girl i was with had a sister that owned a bar in Pataya so we went there. A lot of this girls friends showed up at the bar and she happily greeted each one as she hadn't seen them in a long time. They were all lady boys and i thought it a bit odd but i am open to gay people even tho i am completely straight. One friend came in and hugged her then stood back and commented look at you then tweaked her nipples. Again i thought a bit strange but i thought if she didn't mind then why should i. We partied and had a great time. My friend took his girl and went back to the hotel where they ended up arguing so he came back to the bar to get me and wanted to return to Bangkok. He raised such a row some of the bar employees came out to where we were at his car and were going to beat him up. I told them not to worry i would deal with my friend and for him to go back to the hotel as i wanted to stay longer as were were having a great time. He went back to the hotel and i stayed at the bar until 1 AM when i decided i wanted to get some sleep. The girl i had brought wanted to stay longer so i told her to have a good time and come back when she was ready. I went back to the hotel where my friend was waiting and he told me he had done some checking and that the girl i was with was a lady boy even tho she had already had a complete surgery change. The light bulb came on for me. I told my friend to get some sleep and i would meet him in the lobby at 6AM. I went to my room where i found his gf asleep in my bed as she didn't want to stay with my friend. I thought what the heck, jumped into bed and went to sleep. At about 4 AM the ladyboy i had brought came in and collapsed in bed next to me. I pretended to be asleep and he/she passed out from being drunk very quickly. At 6 AM i met my friend in the lobby we checked out of the hotel and drove back to Bangkok leaving the gf and ladyboy together in my hotel room. You are welcome to use this story and edit it any way you want.

Thanks for another great video. I wish that more guys would pay attention to your remarks at the end. It is only natural that if the guy spends more than one night with the same girl that feelings can develop on either/both sides and I hate it when girls feelings get hurt.

I discovered the channel resently, very entertaining stuff, all my life I've been amazed how taken most white men in the West are with Asian women and how many I've met over the years with horror stories about coupling with those women, which is totally undesirable when one tries to mix 1st with 3rd and 4th world cultures, though is very entertaining hearing about train wrecks at times, some stories are very sad indeed.
First bar I was ever in was Big Dogs.

I don't believe that Thailand will ever be like it was just two years ago. Now I wonder wich country will take over from Thailand when it comes to girls. Probably somewhere in eastern Europe.
I know a guy who has build a house and everything with his thai wife, in order to settle in his old age. But Thailand has changed big time since they married 20 years ago.
I love thai people, but the government is completely different since 25 years ago, when I first arrived.
Yes Peter, Thailand was much nicer back then.
I agree. I have seen a lot of improvements in some things, but other things have got a bit worse just over the last few years before 2019, and I don't know that it will ever get as good as it was just half a dozen years ago.
The closest thing in Asia will be Cambodia, 100%. I'm not saying that Cambodia holds a candle to Thailand, just that it's the closest thing.

I really chuckled at this, especially with your deadpan delivery Peter. What a funny situation, but that is Southeast Asia. You have to roll with bad or uncomfortable situations. From personal experience, the more you complain or fight against it, the worse it seems to get.
Hey Peter, been listening to you for years. Great content. The one thing that does irk me a little , is your pronunciation of 'Pattaya". Maybe it is the original glimpse of how you picked it up. What is your take on this?
A lot of British people pronounce it that way.

I was married to a filipino for years and after that come to an end I became a regular traveller to Indonesia ( plenty of stories to tell there) which was eventful.
I've never been to the ' triangle' by which I mean Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia but I am booked up for Cambodia this coming April and very much looking forward to it. Have a great holiday and very best regards.
Hi Nick, I spent about a year in Indonesia working I didn't find it too much fun compared to Thailand you've got a lot to look forward to if you do make it to the land of smiles.
@@ThailandBound I reckon your right Peter without a doubt.....I was actually booked up for Thailand in April 2018 but got side tracked with a stunning young lady from Kendari, a small city in Sulawesi province. One of the big draws for me in Indonesia though was the Gelora Bung Karno stadium in Jakarta where I saw some great international football matches....they are insanely fanatical and its an amazing experience.
Would I go to Indonesia again? Probably....a good stop over to seeing brother in Brisbane.....but its Cambodia top of list next year....I've long been fascinated by recent Khmer history and will be exploring and enjoying the hospitality.

I just have to say in regards to your first story, yes there are plenty of hotels available, but, I disagree with the person in first story. I always have all my accomodation pre booked before I go to Thailand at least 2 to 3 months before I go, that way you can enjoy yourself more and spend more time with your new lady friend. love your vids

Im scared, why? Cause I've decided to go to Thailand and find a wife lol. I've never been to Thailand but I've visited many other countries that lets say have the same (working girls everywhere) i dont know what I'm about to do but I've thought it through so much, listened to so much stories, to make it work its gonna take some effort as I'll want her to live with me here in the UK for 6 months and 6 months in Thailand, this can be achieved with my work and maybe open up a small business out there to keep her OCCUPIED while we're in Thailand if you get what I mean lol. im pretty young 39 handsome, no issues getting women in the western world but I just can't deal with them and I refuse to suffer in the UK for the rest of my life, I just gotta be careful and not let any emotions get involved with the first trip at least, ill choose a lady first trip, see how she acts by getting to know her, go back to UK keep in touch and go back and see if its the same chemistry, then maybe marry her on the 3rd or 4th trip there lol. Im going with friends the first time who have been before so im in good hands i guess. wish me luck guys cause I know im gonna need it.

G'day Pete, i'm very happy that you can finally make it back mate. Two things that have changed the tourist industry over time mate are, Mobile phones. The ladies can pretend to be ' back home with mom ' without having to find a quiet corner to take a call from Mr Wonderful. 2nd is the invention of Viagra. Not as much easy? money these days, now most ' true loves ' can be a raging stud and keep the ladies awake half the night instead of sleeping on the job. Enjoy your holiday mate.

The story about the bacon is very true. The bacon they sell here in Thailand is substandard and once cooked it is tough and hard to eat5. When i come back from the states next5 time i am planning to bring back some good old American bacon. I also found a recipe on line for making home made biscuits. They are not as fluffy as the ones we make in the states but have a great flavor.
I am really into the “Sugar Free” biscuits that I first tried in the UK but are now widely available in Thailand (Blue and white boxes) several variety’s
