Just wanna take the opportunity to remind fans that when things eventually dont go our way in some games, keep in mind its a rebuilding season for us and there's plenty of positives so far. As long as the team puts in the effort lets support them all the way

When Sheffield United scored, certainly for myself but I felt for all the people sitting around me too there was a calm. Like, it was disappointing but it was still going to be alright. Complete opposite of last season.

Been a fan since 1969. I was at the match and I've never heard a noise like that when the second goal went in. Big up for all the subs that came on especially of course Richy. And great decision by Ange on who to sub and when. The crowd never lost faith and a thoroughly deserved win. Irony dripping all over the blades for their time wasting, which started minute one. We lost fluidity as a result but that's already been picked up on as a lesson learned.
A weird weekend, just 24 hours earlier, Ange’s beloved AFL team, Carlton kicked a goal in the dying seconds to win their AFL semi final in front of over 96,000 fans, and the noise in that game was beyond belief. Big Ange must be beyond happy right now.

Such an incredible atmosphere in the stadium when that second goal went in, it was just absolute pandemonium! I’ve seen fans of certain other clubs make fun of us for celebrating like that when we got the winner and for the celebrations at the final whistle, saying that it’s “only Sheffield at home” and all that (which is in itself disrespectful to Sheffield) but that was exactly the sort of match that we would’ve lost in the past - and a last minute winner, regardless of the opponent, is usually the most hype moment in any match so let us have this 😭

The main reason i celebrated like a mad man is because the way sheffield were time wasting was so frustrating. The moment the 2nd goal went in , i vented out all my anger in the celebration and it felt good to see karma happen

If someone comments on it to me (no one has yet), I'll likely just say that "I think it's great that we stay in the stadium, show support and celebrate our team. How can that ever be a bad thing?". You saw tons of Everton fans walk out early - as have other fans in other matches - but now it's bad to celebrate and REALLY get behind and connect with your team? Strange world, eh? These are the wins that bond fans and the players.
It is a great feeling when you think the game is lost and we are walking away with no points, then just minutes to go we win the game and grab all 3 points.

Yes I was there West Stand Mafia 😂😂. The quiet west stand… it was amazing…. Yep hugging people you don’t know. I loved the atmosphere at the end… but there were some nervous fans around me …. Calm down and enjoy us playing. It’s great… Sheffield Utd play a type of football to frustrate and it’s rubbish to watch … yep people left at 90 mins … don’t do it… clearly forgot about Leicester couple of seasons ago

U can see the camaraderie that the players have with each other. They are playing for each other and u can see that they are playing more as a collective unit than before. When there’s unity, great things can happen. Whatever that Ange has done sure has an effect with all the lads. If this carries on, silverware glory wouldnt be too far away. U just gotta have that belief that u can do it.
Ahhh everyone stayed composed even though Sheffield + refs were acting like punks delaying the game, handing out the most random yellow cards, etc. Madders and Sonny showed so much class keeping the team together. Bissouma was a beast the whole game protecting the ball. Vet subs came in and grounded the game for us. Kulu poor guy couldn't connect for his life, but finally rewarded at the end. And my goodness, I've never been more happy for a player than Richy! He deserved that! Can't forget Ange... anyone who watched the game knows how collected and calm he remained even as we were down 0-1 to a shit team. Trusting in his players. Amazing to be a part of this journey and seeing the boys play as ONE TEAM. COYS!
My two cents about striker (I don't even think it's a matter of opinion, it was obvious to anyone watching the game): Sheffield obviously had a game plan, play 50 men in the box, super compact, and take a handful of opportunities on counter attack or set pieces (Conte-esque) and waste as much time as possible to disrupt any Spurs momentum (the goalie wasting time allowed their men to get forward since our midfield is so much stronger than theirs). And indeed, the Blade's goal came off essentially a long throw-in from the corner. Sonny, when he was in the box, had 3-4 Blade's shirts on him, there was so little space because of the numbers they had back. That is why we dominated possession and opportunities, but couldn't score for nearly the entire game. In a compact game like this, I like Richy's skill set, which is physicality and heading ability. Indeed, our first goal came from a header set piece, which btw was straight from the training ground, evidenced by Perisic taking the corner instead of Madders and the way Richy curled into position from the center of the box. FYI, all of Richy's goals in a Spurs shirt came from headers. Once we got that first goal, space opened up as momentum shifted and legs became tired so late in the game. What is the takeaway? In games where the opposition is super compact/ park the bus, I like Ricky's physicality on set pieces. In games where the opposition is more attacking, with more space to attack behind, I like Sonny. Sonny's skill set, which is quite different than Richy's, is clinical finishing, situational awareness (being in the right space at the right time), and speed. In other words, teams that play on the back foot - Richy as a striker, teams that play more on the front foot - Sonny as a striker. For example, next week against Arsenal, I like Sonny as a striker. The game next week will be decided by the midfield. If we are to win, Madders and Bissouma are going to need to have really solid games, and we need a front line that can exploit space. What I will say, I do have confidence that Ange will make the right subs when needed, which wasn't always the case under Conte. Great game, COYS!!! Happy for Richy and Kulu.
