@Prathamesh Adsul same thing applies for men facing domestic violence too. If they learn to stand up for themselves, it will be a happy ending for them. We teach others how to treat us by tolerating or not tolerating their abuse.
@Prathamesh Adsul the same thing can be said for women too. The truth is victims of domestic violence feel ashamed to report it which is why they don’t get justice. This is not some gender thing so please stop this crap that men don’t get justice. Now even police agrees that men also face domestic violence so if it is reported along with real proof, justice will be given
Sharda University Professor, She supported and such friends still stayed friends with an abuser. And professor questioned the victim is he hitting you with slipper in fun or out of love., also she questioned the victim that rape happened to her cos she was in live in and live in gives a consent to boy to rape his gf
What if a man is mentally suffering due to wife's mental torture and taunts. Would that also be considered as domestic violence? Or it only for women and men are not considered?
@@IloveAutumn-b5p Yeah, that is totally bad and such men should be punished. But my question was if a man was not beating but was mentally tortured by the wife, would that count as domestic violence since it is also some kind of violence.
Good job. Do.uou know men suffer at women's hands too and it's much more shameful for them.please don't pretend as if only women go through it, nowadays men are suffering a lot. Make one video on it.
it's more common for women to suffer domestic violence but of course it happens with men too. I don't think anywhere in the video it was shown that it only happens to women. In fact the writing in the end says "Women are more likely to experience intimate partner violence than men" meaning they know it happens with men too but not as common as with women.
Thank you for your insight. Our sole purpose of this abrupt ending was to depict how intimate partner violence goes unreported most of the time and the victim continues to tolerate abuse. Given how this story is set in an urban household, we further wanted to show how this abuse is not limited to uneducated families but also educated families. The bystanders like his friends choose to remain quiet and the victim suffers.
I m suffering with same. Domestic voilance Publicaly insult Abusing Mental torchure Questioned on my character again n again Husbands extra marital affair. I want to do suicide but I have a 3 years old baby girl nd I dont want to leave her alone. Plz somebody suggest me what should I do
We are really sorry to hear that. We'd suggest you talk to a trusted individual or a family member. Please contact any support helpline to also guide you through this. Know that you are not alone.
VeRY POOR STORYLINE ! A delicate subject handled so poorly ! U see a woman enduring domestic violence in front of u . That too by ur friend. What do u do ??? .... Gossip about it to the other friend. .... Ask the wife, whats the mark on her neck ? Formality ! ... AND WALK AWAY ! And wait for someone else to come n help her ?
Thank you for sharing your perspective. The abrupt ending was intentionally chosen to highlight how intimate partner violence often goes unreported, leaving victims to endure ongoing abuse. By setting the story in an urban household, we aimed to show that such abuse isn't confined to uneducated families but can also occur in educated ones. Additionally, the silence of bystanders, like his friends, further emphasizes how the victim suffers in isolation.
Well produced video, important theme
You could have shown a happy ending of how his friends helped her by reporting it to the police.
@Prathamesh Adsul it doesn't end in a happy ending but it can if people learn to stand up for themselves and fight for their rights.

Absolutely, we had a reason for showing otherwise but yes that ending could be explored as well.
