Hey friends! My microphone software reset the noise gate settings when I set it all back up on the new desk for some silly reason. I didn't notice until the editing process so unfortunately if you hear the ends of the clips being slightly muted audio wise that's what is happening. It'll be fixed for the next parts of this series but I couldn't quite get it exactly right for this one. 🙃
I would settle one tile to the left. You got a 7 yield tile (for tempo to an early builder) and a 4 yield tile immediately to work. I think that way outperforms the miss of the 2-2 start.
Tried this on my own random map and Trajan got Oracle on turn 46. Have I been unlucky there or is there any tips that help to get these early wonders fast?
their a policy card calls corvee that increases production on wonder by 15%. You can also place down the wonder and have your builder chop wood/ rainforest or harvest stone to gain production.
To be honest, I just didn't think about it very much. I wasn't really trying to overoptimize the start so I just went on autopilot for a second at the settle. Looking back now though it was very silly. 1 tile left is definitely the better settle. Whoopsies.

Came to comments to say the same thing. Working those diamonds first would be a huge advantage.
