Having one arc like that doesn't excuse the fact that most of DBS was all fun and games, if anything bad happened, Whis could just rewind Time to give the heroes another chance, things aren't that dense anymore.
Even then, everyone who has 5 braincells knew that Universe 7 was going to win the Tournament, it was a no brainer.

The first XV did this first, and I don't know enough about XV2's plot other than that it takes place after the first game, the hero from that game is now Trunks's partner, Mira & Towa are still doing their thing, and you, Trunks, and his partner are hunting them down.

Yeah, I hate to say it but its really not that good. I started realizing it wasn't good probably 2to 3 episodes ago. The main villains are too accessible. And goku should have traveled along way to meet Beerus and Whis. And Zamasu and Black seem like their too accessible. Think of Freiza in Namek saga. Frieza was the most feared in the universe and it took forever for them to meet him and reach the final showdown. DBS all they do is travel back and forth through time and just meet them. And then character development is just non existent. The entire cast of dbz is not used. And then Vegeta has gotten the short end of the stick entirely. Why is Trunks even fighting? He's no where near anyone else power level. I'm a dragon ball fan, but GT is better than Super. The storyline is better. And lets be honest, as far as just looks and not power levels, who's more intimidating as far as looks? SSBlue or SS4? SS4

Super is horrible. Bad writing, next to no plot, character arcs are dropped from DBZ and new ones are immediately forgotten. Plot contrivances are through the of too. GT was bad but only for one arc. This series gets worse as time goes on.

The way you responded makes me think you are hating on DBS just to hate. Zamasu is more interesting as a character than Buu or Babidi or even Dabura. I like how we get to see how Kaiohsin operate and how they view the mortals they are trying to protect. The tea thing and the conversations between Zamasu and Gowasu are well written. Black is a better villain than Majin Buu becasue he is not evil for evil's sake. Trunks is not worthless and seems you misunderstand his character. The man has went through more than anyone else however we see how he still strives for a better future. Just because an enemy is too strong does not mean that Trunks is useless. His interactions with Gohan and 18 wertr interesting because he now it gives him hope that he can help rebuild a better future. But he is a broken man in some ways. Also he was willing to fight Black alongside his father but Vegeta refused becasue he understands how important his son is to the people of the future and to Vegeta himself. Maybe you should try understanding what the arc's purpose is before bashing on it because it easily rivals the Cell arc in every way

I used to play Dragon ball games when I was a kid, but I never watched the series till some years ago. Watching DB and DBZ in 2017 was boring and not because the series was bad, but because the idea of an anime was different at that time. The fight between Goku and Frieza was boring, I can't watch punches and beams for 4 hours. DBS was not so great, but it is easier to watch than DB or DBZ. If you watch DBZ now and have fun watching, probably it is because of nostalgia.

Something I find funny is that the show’s writing is so bad that people constantly try to degrade dragon ball z by saying stuff like ‘hurr durr it was always like this in z’. If you have to try and degrade an actually good show to make a bad show look good, then it shows how shit the show really is.

Not at all. There's hardly any adventure. There's no sense of loss or accomplishment. Goku already has an advanced God form that puts him over just about every being in the series except for the Gods of Destruction. And he's practically buddy buddy with them anyway, so if he were to lose a serious fight, they'd probably jump in on his behalf. And actually they have.
Which is why I'd prefer a reboot over a new series.

Narancia Ghirga「VOLARE VIA!」 From a humor standpoint then yes. It actually keeps Z to its action-comedy roots it discarded after Goku grew older and married ChiChi. And unlike Super and GT, it didn't fail so badly in that regard.

Dragon Ball Super Arc Formula: Every new arc, take an old arc from DB/Z/GT (They haven't taken from GT yet, but I think that they will), change some characters around, add a new Super Saiyan form because fuck it, change the villains to be stupid, and you'll have a new arc of Dragon Ball Super.

One example off the top of my head besides all the retcon is itself a retcon, how Trunks killed Dabura even though Dabura was actually "good" inside and ended up in heaven in Z, because of the fact that he tried to stop Buu, knowing he'd just destroy everything. In Z, good guys get their redemption and bad guys get what's coming to them. but in Super? Nope, sorry Dabura. We know you were under mind control and all, but... we might as well kill Piccolo too, his dad was evil... and Vegeta... and Yamcha.... and Tien, Chiaotzu, Buu etc;

Imma explain why DB Super is trash imo... It lacks the substance, tension epicness and grace that DBZ had.
The substance in DBZ was unbelievably good... The characters were not one trick ponies and you could relate to them to some degree... they had funny and realistic personalities that shifted with the circumstances they were in. Goku was childish but not a complete moron. He had a sense of urgency when the situation dictated and a real charecter development through out the entire series. He realizes when he messed up in the cell saga and even in the Majin Buu saga he recognized that Vegetas rivalry with himself was going to have consequences so instead of continuing a fight which Goku obviously would have loved to do, he puts there differences aside and tries to team up with Vegeta. In DB super Goku could care less about anything with the exception of seeing his wife and child murdered. That's the only bit of seriousness you see in the series and of course when it seemed like Master Roshi died did we see a little bit of the original Goku we all know and love.
Don't even get me started on the lack of tension in this series... From the beginning of Z with Radditz coming to earth to the end with Buu being defeated by the spirit bomb, every enemy was a legit threat to the z fighters. You always had that anticipation for the confrontation that would be brutal and tension and you'd be on the edge of your seat with suspense as to what crazy event would take place during the fight. When the Androids arrive, they don't mess around! They go strait to killing multiple innocents without an ounce of remorse right in front of the z fighters, invoking a enraged response from Goku! The scene makes you feel the indignation that the z fighters feel and makes you jump with excitement when Goku clocks 20 right in his ugly face! DB Super never makes you jump with excitement like that... you never feel like there's any real emotions behind any of the fights... there not tense and it almost always feels like nothing's on the line.
In terms of epicness, DBZ can't be beat! When Goku turns into a SS, you literally feel so pumped like you just transformed and are about to kick some sadistic alien tranny ass! When you first meet every villain, you legitimately feel the desperation of the z warriors when they realize how insurmountable the odds are that are stacked against them. When you see characters abandon there previous ideals for the greater good, Its almost magical... When you first meet cell and he's like the boogy man just creeping around and murdering people just to get stronger, Its unsettling and it makes you angry but it's still epic! When cell is brought to his doom by the combined efforts of all the Z fighters, that scenes epicness literally can't be touched by that of any other scene in the entire series. I literally can't think of one epic scene in DB super that made me have chills watching and made me jump out of my seat screaming in excitement like I did when Goku blasted Vegeta's Galic Gun back at him, or when Goku punched Freiza in the gut, or when he angry Kamehamehaed Frieza, or when Vegeta's arm was snapped by 18, or when Vegeta blew up 19, or when Cell got final flashed, or when Gohan turned Super Sayian 2 and punched cell twice and about killed him, or the final beam struggle between Cell and Gohan... the list is endless!
In terms of grace, DB super has really dropped the ball! Every fight In Z had more then a barrage of punches and ki blasts, and they literally use intense animation to emphasize the impact of some of the greatest blows you will ever seen dealt in an anime series. They slow it down to show us just how skilled the fighters are and always used great commentary to give us the true depth of what was going on during the fight. They did it so well and paced the fights in such a way, that you didn't mind watching a fight between Goku and Frieza that lasted 4+ hours. It was so graceful and satisfying to see the tyrant get torn down and defeated! They even used tactics and mental combat to fight there foes! Piccolo was so tactical and strategic and it was always interesting to see how he'd outsmart his opponent! Vegeta was more then a brainless warrior. He always used some cunning trick to gain an advantage when the odds turned against him. It was so interesting to see how the characters didn't only fight with brawn, but would be put in circumstances where they'd have to use there brains to either escape a no win situation, or put there enemy at a disadvantage by taking advantage of there character flaws.
Yes this is a book, but I swear it's true and this doesn't even scratch the surface as to why DB Super will never live up to DBZ. I will debate with anyone who says otherwise... If you took the time to read this all, thank you...

After the majin buu arc any series that would come after Z was fucked. Where do you go from an evil creature that can easily destroy the earth? Nowhere, other than the God route, it’s the only way to add a challenging threat after buu. And the inclusion of gods is what makes the series so problematic these days. It’s just getting ridiculous now, they should’ve just quit while they were ahead.
....But we've had characters that could do that since the Freeza arc.
Also, to the guy who said Z had stakes...stop. No, it didn't. Z was fun, and it had heart and passion and profound things to say that we sometimes look over, but it didn't really have stakes. Actually, scratch that. Z did have stakes. Just not the mortal kind. They had emotional stakes.
I honestly do think they have pontential to be great as z but if they can bring more villains as z more stakes and maybe make it that goku doesn’t always get to defeat the main bad guy

1. There is no tension whatsoever the BoG arc could of been it as well as RoF but than you remember there are movie versions of both arcs and if you were a true dbz fan you probably already seen those movies and already know the outcome of both expectancy since RoF for the most part was eye bleeding. The Universal tournament didn't have any tension either because the reason for it was stupid when people think of tournaments in animes they think of some kinda of prize I mean the original dragon ball had that with all their tournament arcs with Goku wanting to be the strongest in the world only to lose to fighters better than him like Tenshinhan and Jackie Chan, but here the grand prize is... switching universes. The Trunks saga started out promising with the introduction of Trunks's future being in total ruins, Bulma and Mai both dying, and Trunks barely escaping with his life but as quickly as it came it disappear with Goku taking the fight with Black as a game, Mai revealing to not be dead, and the whole Trunks Gohan thing. In Dragon ball every arc seen to have some tension to it all revolving around the dragon balls in Z the tension rose to the roof since a lot of the villains were other going to destroy earth or conquer the universe if the Z fighters didn't succeed I mean look at the history of Trunks for example because Goku die of the heart virus and the Z-fighters couldn't stop the Androids Trunks future became complete shit. Super nah who needs that.
2. Where's the freaking Character development I mean seriously I hasn't seen a single character beside Cabba's force development. I mean the only new thing we learn about Beerus is that he's a liar and have a love hate relationship with his brother and that's it, I didn't learn anything new about Vegeta, Piccolo, Chi Chi, 18, Gohan, or anybody it's just bad guys come in, fight fight fight, Goku defeats the villains, party at Bulma's, filler, repeat, I thought we were going to see some development with Trunks in this arc but I was wrong Trunks went from an epic badass to a hopeless baby that needs his mommy because the worlds a scary place.
3. Too many god characters. I mean seriously Super introduced so many god characters it's crazy and most of their position put other gods position of power in question. In Dragon ball we had Kami who is the god of the earth who was introduce in the King Piccolo saga who we than found out is the good side of the nameless namek who can to earth thousands of years ago to take the role as God who also separated his bad half who became Piccolo or Piccolo Daimao, in Z we got introduce to King Yama who is the god of the otherworld and King Kai who is the God of the north galaxy in the saiyan saga, in the otherworld tournament saga we get introduce to three other kais the kais of the south, east, and west, and the grand kai himself, in the Majin Buu arc we got introduce to the Supreme Kais or the Kaioshins who are said to be gods of the universe which get retcon into being gods of creations, than in BoG we got introduce to the God of Destruction Beerus and Whis, in the Universe 6 arc we got introduce to Champa who is Beerus's brother from another universe who is also the god of destruction of that universe too and his assistance Vados who is Whis's sister, than we got the Omni King who is suppose to be the god of everything, than in this arc we hear about the Kaioshin of the future, than we have the Universe 10 Kaioshin with one that might have a connection to Black. That's a lot of God characters and half of them don't even do anything Beerus sit on his lazy ass and eat if he's not doing that he's having temper tantrum or sleeping, we hardly see Omni King or know anything about his powers pass he's able to destroy universe with just a sneeze and the Kaioshin are weak as fuck.
4. Goku and Vegeta show. I don't really need to go in depth with this one since you pretty much hit the needle of the head in your video. Anyone who isn't Goku or Vegeta... better yet who isn't GOKU get thrown to the waste side every time they build up character arcs with characters like Gohan, Mr. Satan, Buu, Gotenks, etc. they get immediately drop and favor of Goku time if your not gonna use other characters don't tease us about them being important in the future when their really not if Gohan wasn't going to do anything important except for being a dad don't have him train with Piccolo, if you don't want to use Piccolo don't have him enter a tournament and have him drop out because Vegeta told him so which goes against his character. People talk about GT being Goku time, but I see other characters do more in that series than they do this series.
5. The animation is meh at best and shit at worst sadly that's all the animation in this series is meh beside some cool aura and lighting here and there most of it is just meh.
6. The music I'm gonna say this now Sumitomo is the worst composer in Dragon ball history before this arc his stuff was boring his old track doesn't feel like I'm watching dragon ball just some genetic action anime like Pokemon say what you will about Bruce Falconer's score at least it had more memorable tracks than Sumitomo, Kikuchi where you go.
7. If it wasn't for the many games that are going to be retelling Super or including Super characters/transformation this series would be forgotten in a year or two.

1. I agree with the some of what you said however there are a few things I would like to address. Yes the BoG and RoF arcs were essentially rehashes. However, the BoG arc was better than the movie imo and is still a good story to introduce a new realm of power for Goku to achieve. The training with Goku and Vegeta was a good way to see how they got so strong and also it was good to see Vegeta finally become Goku's equal. The RoF arc did lack tension and it was not as good as the movie. It is funny how you say kid Goku would loose to people stronger than him when that is what happened in the U6 tournament. Goku would have lost regardless to Hit because of the strain Kaioken puts on his body. The difference with this tournament was that it expanded the DBU and introduced new characters and set up new arcs for later on. Something tournaments from DB did as well. I will admit that the first 2 fights in the tournament were meh and the last 3 were good. And Beerus wishing for the return of U6's earth shows that he does have a soft spot and has developed as a character. The F. Trunks arc has developed Trunks' character in a unique way. We see him interact with Gohan and Android 18, 2 people who had a positive and negative impact on his life. However we see him come to terms with how both of them have turned out. Trunks has gone through a lot and now he is Earth's last hope. You see a man who has been torn by his misfortunes but has to stay strong in order to protect the future. And last week's episode has added an element of tension in the series.
2. Vegeta has had development with how he trained Cabba, how he encourages Trunks as opposed to how he initially treated him in the Cell Saga, and how he is willing to swallow his pride for the sake of the Earth and for the sake of surpassing Goku. The thing is for the other characters they have mostly developed. Their story arcs are essentially over and are pushed to the side in favor of new characters and the revived rivalry between Goku and Vegeta. Goku has discovered a new realm of power that he wishes to reach, Vegeta does not want to fall behind so he also has a desire to see where this new lvl of power will take him. The other characters have had their stories. We have seen them develop. Now they are retired in a sense as Goku and Vegeta take center stage and see were the stage of the gods will take them.
3. Well the introduction of God characters is basically what DBS is about. The 12 Universes. Each with it's own Hakaishin and Kaioshin. Destruction and Creation. Each Hakaishin has their own attendant. Above them is Zen-chan accompanied by his own personal assistants. I think this is Toriyama's way of being consistent with the God Heirarchy. And the strength of Kaioshin can vary as we see Zamasu can hold his own against ssj2 Goku. Remember Base Goku had an edge over RoF Final Form Frieza so Zamasu is far from weak. The U7 Kaioshin are weak in comparison. Also I am glad they are involving other Universes as well in this story. So overall the god hierarchy is not a problem because structurally it makes sense
4. I see the problem with that to be honest. And I agree with that point. However at least Piccolo had a chance. But i do wish they would not tease characters just to have them be thrown to the side
5. Animation in DBS is better than animation in Z to be honest. And DBS animation ranges from great to bad just like Z.
6. I actually like the music when it fits the mood but when it does not it feels off. However the music for Episode 56 was on point especially when Black arrived.
7. People would watch DBS regardless of that. And GT is still remembered to this day. I do not hate GT like most do but IMO it is not as good as DBS.

I more focus on how every arc minus Black really had no weight to them like in BoG we basically knew Goku would lose and Beerus wouldn't destroy earth because that's not Toriyama's style, we knew Goku would let his guard down and get beating by a small laser, Vegeta goes ssjb on Frieza, Frieza destroys the earth, Whis reverse time, and Goku kills Frieza, but I was really hoping the Tournament arc was going to have some tension even if it's very small because switching universes would be a big deal but the tension was killed when Goku said "Is it really such a big deal the only thing that'll change is us being in a different universe." so all you could do was enjoy the fights with the first two being ass and the last 3 being some what decent, and I went a little easy on the Black/Trunks arc because it isn't finish yet and now that we're in the Future and Black unlock a new transformation even stronger than ssjb Vegeta there's some serious tension that most fans has been looking for.
2. The thing is can Vegeta have anymore development beside the stuff he did in both the Majin Buu saga and Resurrection F and Vegeta training Cabba doesn't seen like much to me yeah he turn Cabba into a Super Saiyan but I think that was mostly because Vegeta didn't want one of his own races to be underpowered by like his races was against Frieza or be like Gohan who had all this potential and just waste it all. And the other problem is Goku and Vegeta getting too much screen time in the original Dragon ball, Z, and GT they gave everyone some screen time even if it isn't much but Super seen to never give any character who isn't Goku, Vegeta, or a God anytime to shine I mean when was the last time we saw Gohan, Krillin, Roshi, or Piccolo on screen without Goku doing something useful that doesn't involve babysitting, helping Goku with his chores, or training I'm still waiting on a episode focusing on Piccolo and the only thing we got so far is a filler scene in Z about Piccolo's relation with Goku and how he had change great lovely but let's see what's Piccolo is doing now. Just because a character's story arc is finish doesn't mean there isn't more interesting stories to tell like what does Videl do now beside being a mother or Tien where's he off too now that he no longer fights alongside Goku and them.
3. The problem is the over saturation we know how Toriyama is when it comes to his work. How many of these God characters do you think Toriyama will remember I can promise you it will be the Kaioshin, Kaiosama, Beerus and Whis, and maybe Champa and Vados. Heck he can't even remember who some of his non-god characters he already told us that he forgot about Launch when he was making Z so I wouldn't put it past him to forget about the God characters.
4. I wouldn't called Piccolo dropping out because Vegeta told him as a good thing since it seen like U7 was screw from the start I mean it would of been great to have Gohan fight but I can only see him going through Frost and Cabba, but lose to Magetta and Hit, Piccolo wasn't a good choice either because he would of been too overpowered by most of U6's fighters, and Buu is just... Buu no explanation there.
5. Yeah it had improve from what we got in BoG and RoF but it's not as good as it could be I was exception Yo Son Goku and his friends return quality animation or something along the line as One Punch Man and Kill la Kill.
6. Sumitomo is really good in a small dose when somethings about to be intentions the music become kick ass which is 20% of Super, but the other 70% is mediocre quality that's good in series like Pokemon compare to the other composers which can make a home-run 80% of the time.
7. I say that because whether DBS is good or not their still going to go with the DBZ tag because that name is too familiar with people outside the Dragon Ball fanbase I mean look at the original Dragon ball it was far better than Z but it's mostly forgotten by people outside of the fanbase because every dbz game focus on the DBZ aspect of the story it made be once every blue moon they include stories from the OG Dragon ball, GT, and movies and specials that doesn't involve Broly or Bardock.

Retro Gamer You make some great points. The only thing I will address is the god characters and the support characters. I do hope that the God hierarchy is finally established. When they first revealed Zamasu I thought he was some new character in a new hierarchy of gods so I am glad that he turned out to be a Kaioshin. So I do think the God hierarchy is complete but who knows. If there is someone above Zeno I will take points away from the series.
The support characters are essentially useless at this point. Krillin, Tien, 18, Piccolo, and Majin Buu are stand no chance against the new tiers of power introduced in the series. To be honest they have been outclassed since the Cell Saga. Since DB is a series of escalation certain characters become simply "Cheerleaders" for the main characters. They also have no way of getting stronger than what they are. Piccolo however does deserve a much needed power boost. I feel like he has always been one of the very few who could keep up with the Saiyans and seeing him with some form of Namekian god transformation would be a welcomed addition. I am fine with how the rest have turned out because they either have families or they realize their limitations. But I do think they should not hype up a supporting chatacters return just to have them pushed to the side.

I'm not in denial. Sure recolored Super Saiyan forms look stupid but I honestly like 'em because of the God Level so yeah there should've been a different design for the God Levels. Dragon Ball Super was a major joke for how it started out, now I only like the Black Goku Saga which saddens me because it took a while to actually start the series with a similar or different story. DBS Part 1 sucked (Rewrite Movie Sagas to Universe 6 Tournament Saga).

I know this is the worlds most unpopular opinion x2, but not only do I like DragonBall GT, I also think it had WAY more interesting characters (incl villains) and way more interesting plots. Baby was a Tuffle out for revenge because of what happened WAAAAAAY back when the Saiyans originallly arrived at Planet Tuffle and eradicated the people to make the planet their own. Super 17 is Dr. Gero's new attempt at revenge (well the arc isn't very long at least if you find that a lame re-tread), but then we have the Shadow Dragons that are a result of Goku & Co. overusing the DragonBalls and now have to fight these creatues to make amends.
Add to this, that the Lost Episodes (the Black Star Saga), had way more original ideas over the span of 16 episodes, than Super has had over the span of 100.
You may have a boat load of reasons to dislike GT, but you have to admit it was more original than Super is now.

@@transcendentmuzic1398 I mean I loved the concept of the space arc aka Black Star Saga, because while GT does get flag for just re-hashing OG DB's idea being on an adventure to collect the illusive balls, to me GT was an "upgrade" from that. I mean think about it, in DragonBall they travel the world to collect the balls, but in GT the entire universe is their oyster, and with every planet having its own ecosystem and fair share of potential adventure, to me it was DragonBall... but better. That said, once you realize that Goku can essentially beat anyone by going SSJ1 and for some reason just choosing not to do that most of the time, it does get a bit silly and at that point even my suspension of disbelief is starting to wain.
I guess what I'm saying is that I like the first part of GT for its interesting villain designs and the wonders of space travel, but I agree that the powerlevels are all over the place.
I mean Goku had trouble beating General Rildo in his Liquid Metal form, but then later when they all try to escape the planet, he has for some reason reverted back to his original form and gets taken out by a triple kamehameha. So the series does have its faults and bad writing, but I still like it overall.

I'm so glad to have seen this video and more so to have read so many comments in agreement that watching Super is like "how it felt for Star Wars fans to watch The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones". It's in all honesty a bullshit cash-grab jumping on the "every animation needs to be colorful HD hyper stupid crazy bullshit" bandwagon for pure merchandising purposes on a series that ended DECADES ago (not counting GT, counting GT still OVER A DECADE AGO). "Oh everyone likes Naruto's kyubii mode and sage mode and sage kyubii and all this red chakra and whatnot. And everyone has a crazy nostalgia boner for Dragonball Z. Surely we can bring back one of the most iconic anime in history and tie it together with all this colorful HD goodness to keep making money off a franchise that unfortunately may have been slowly progressing out of the limelight (understandably so since it's been fucking YEARS since it ended)." And so we have Red HD recolored Goku, then Blue HD recolored Super Saiyans, then Gold HD recolored Cooler I mean Frieza and then we have ugly shitty hyper pastel animation Super with disgusting pastel turquoise hair Trunks and Black and Pink Goku and Green taller Supreme Kai and it's like... what the fuck? Where did everything go so ass-backwards? I can believe that Vegeta would be a bit of a stoic and distant man, as is his overall personality. But he had so much character development throughout Z from villain to antihero to straight second-most important/ 2/2 relevant characters, including an arc of rediscovered villainy, remorse, redemption, and even acceptance to the almost 4th wall breaking realization that he is not Goku and therefore he is not the strongest. And like... whether or not Gohan chose to devote the rest of his life to studies or to fucking sitting at home watching TV all day for the next 50 years of his life... even at that point he could not have been reduced to being such a pansy ass... honestly I don't want to keep mentioning all of the series' flaws. I'm not forced to watch it, and if any good scenes do happen to come out of Super I become aware of those, at least. All I can hope is that someday this series gets the GT treatment and is filed as non-canon, and replaced with an actually good sequel to Z. Which, in almost every way GT is a good sequel to Z ESPECIALLY so when compared to Super. Even if GT was the weakest series out of 3 Dragonball series, it still had the right frame of mind going into the story and designs. It stayed true to both Dragonball and Dragonball Z's character designs, character developments, and excellent fights and tension. Plus, canon or not, the ending to GT overall felt like an appropriate sendoff to the series as a whole with respect to everything it left behind. Super, on the other hand, went in the entirely opposite direction, decided to spit on everything that came before it, and decided to retcon whatever it felt like to just shove a crappy hyper color idiot storyline down our throats to sell merchandise for the sake of cashing in on the LEGENDARY Dragonball franchise as well as having "legitimate" reasons to sell reskin "transformations" of main characters just to get that extra bit of merchandising in there. "We can make a new Dragnball series, but there's already so many yellow haired Goku toys out there nobody will buy our new ones... unless we make his hair BLUE!!! Then they'll HAVE to buy new toys and DLC Wigs for their video game characters! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Episode 7 was far worse then any of the prequels. Disney Wars is trash not only as a Star Wars Film, but as a Story in and of itself.

Ultimate Spoopynator i liked the tournament arc. Like they've done an amazing job at fan service and i've been having plenty of fun watching. Also trunks being able to come back is amazing since he is like basically my favorite character.

Ultimate Spoopynator super saiyan is made through anger and costs more energy than something like SSGSS (Super saiyan blue) which is made through relaxing meditation. Also in the manga it is explained that Super saiyan blue has a side effect that is you can't use it a bunch of times in a day because it gets weaker every time you use it. It's like going super saiyan 3 in a sense.
That guy who went to the Bathroom at school to wank yeah that's a good example. A few weeks after i made these comments I'll say this. If you look at a fighting anime and expect it to make sense you're stupid. People are way too judgemental of it. I simply stopped thinking about whether or not the series made sense long ago and now i'm just enjoying my favorite character (trunks) kick total ass. Now I just hope that trunks and goten grow up and i can see a new trunks I haven't seen yet. I mean I love trunks more than any character and the fact they brought him back has helped renew my love for the series. i look forward to the next arc.

GT is far better than Super, and it's a better sequel too. Sure it's not the best of the Dragon Ball series, but at least it tried to be original. Super is just bland, terribly animated, and it fucks up so much that it's hard to consider something like it to be canon. It even retcons Z, so how does it even fit? My point exactly. Everything in it is just pointless, like how it's "10 years, when the earth was peaceful", yet, on the 1st year, Beerus threatens to destroy earth. Then the next year, Frieza threatens to destroy earth and ACTUALLY DOES so. You have design inconsistencies like Bulma and Trunks with Blue hair when they both had Turquoise and Purple hair respectively. Krillin gets shorter for some reason like WTF? The design that annoys me the most is Goku Black.He has Goku's OLD hairstyle from Z. You heard me right. Black's hair is pitch black with three spikes in the back. In Super, Goku's hair is shiny and has four spikes in the back. THEY CAN'T EVEN STAY CONSISTENT.
The animation is done by talented people, but they're only given like two weeks to make a damn episode! with so little time to produce an episode it's no wonder why it sucks so much ass. THEY BARELY FIGHT IN SUPER. 99% of it is just slice of life bullshit that's only used so that the animators don't have to over animate something. It's mainly just still pictures with mouths moving and bodies moving with only three to four frames of animation total. Personalities are shallow and destroyed. I NEVER liked the Pilaf Gang's inclusion, them being children, or worst off, the whole Trunks X Mai shit. IT DOES NOT MAKE ANY SENSE. Mai is afraid of relationships or ANYTHING in that regard. IT'S SHOWN IN DRAGON BALL. So why would she fall for Trunks? A KID? She's a fucking shotacon in Super, man! They force it so damn hard too. Then...Future Mai.....ugh...just stop. Mai's inclusion in GT was far better, and seemed like something the Pilaf Gang would ACTUALLY do! They'd NEVER wish for youth if they got the Dragon Balls. THEY'D WISH TO RULE THE WORLD.
Let's not forget that Super also can't remember things like Vegeta learning his lesson in the Buu saga that Goku is stronger and better than him because he's blinded to the truth, cha, let's have WHIS tell him his problem in the Resurrection F arc, yeah, how about no? Let's also make Trunks a PTSD loser who can't even remember that Android 18 is no longer a threat, yet he witnessed it AND stuck around for TWO ENTIRE WEEKS before leaving back to his own time to make sure no threats were to occur. Android 18 didn't do ANYTHING evil during those times. Yet, he comes back and gets afraid and literally gets ready to attack 18 like that scene from Z never happened. Retcon anyone? Yes, it is. Let's also talk about how his mindset is still in the android saga too. He shows ZERO signs of improvement mind-wise. He should be a much sharper warrior now, but nope, still PTSD garbage running back to modern Goku for help. Then, Trunks can't even remember that he met GOHAN of all people. It's such a surprise for him to see Gohan again JUST BECAUSE HE'S OLDER NOW OOOOOOOO....DESPITE THE FACT THAT THE GOHAN IN MODERN TIMES IS STILL YOUNGER THAN THE GOHAN WHO HELPED HIM FIGHT THE ANDROID IN HIS TIME!!!! UGH!! I CAN'T WITH YOU SUPER LOL!!
I was willing to let Battle of Gods slide because it was just a movie. Good, simple fun, and it was well-animated. However, when they start saying it was canon I started having big time issues, because it can't be canon no matter what Tori or anyone else says. If super is canon, then Dragon Ball's ENTIRETY sucks, concluded, and that's something I REFUSE to believe when we've got gems like Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, and a pretty decent ending like Dragon Ball GT. Super is just a cash cow, and it sucks.

We haven't even seen one example of him doing his job as God of Destruction, not one. It's only because they seem to at least know what the fuck they're doing. Why can't they just adapt the damn manga and call it a day?
