I could happily listen to you saying necrinomnomnom on a loop for quite some time. Can you just slip it in as punctuation throughout your future videos please?
Wonderfully entertaining review, good Sir! We're happy to share it out and boost your signal. To answer some key questions and concerns (and feel free - any of you - to post others, we'll answer!): Substitutions due to regional availability are perfectly fine and fully expected. All entities involved have been propitiated proactively for your safety and continued existence (sanity optional). Brands mentioned fall into one of two categories (neither of which preclude you from substituting) brands needed to make a joke work (such as "Lovecraft Macaroni & Cheese asking for the "Kraft" brand - it's just part of the pun), and brands that are the author's personal favorites for whatever reason. Replace at will. It's perfectly safe.... Each of the recipes is designed to turn out "Delicious to the tongue, but horrifying to the eye" - they're all fully tested, and depending on your skill as a chef - should all turn out quite tasty. Very few of them are truly complicated, and we tried to have entries in each category appropriate to multiple skill levels. You can find more pics, and testimonials, by following The Necronomnomnom on Facebook or Instagram (and we'll have a UA-cam channel up soon-ish). Thanks, and cook on!
Hey man I just discovered your channel a few days ago and have watched a bunch of videos; I really appreciate your enthusiasm for art and find you super articulate. Do you think you'll ever review Blood Meridian?
I will when I eventually re-read it; I found it astonishing and very impactful when I read it, but it was ages ago. I'll be rereading some McCarthy later this year - though not quite Blood Meridian ;) thanks for the generous comment, by the way!
Hey bookchemist, check out Denis Johnson, he is often called a writers writer and interested to hear your thoughts on him. Check out Jesus' Son which is one of the best short story collections or the Largesse of the Sea Maiden which he finished just before his death. Thanks!
His only book I've read was Tree of Smoke, which was impressive and beautifully executed, although, a few years later, I'm not quite sure how much exactly it left me with. I'll read more of his works some day! Thanks for the recommendations!
@@TheBookchemist Even though Tree of Smoke won a national award I defo think Jesus' Son, Train Dreams, Largesse of the Sea Maiden are much better so i'm excited for you to read more! (they are all under 150 pages)
I'm afraid I don't have any book out (perhaps you mean when I mention that I'm published in Modern Fiction Studies at the beginning of the video? That's a literary journal, I have an article there titled "A World Made Out of Stories" about Michael Chabon's Moonglow)!
Hey, I wanna ask u something .i am first year English literature and language student, so can you please give me some titles of books that make me understand literature deeper (periods, movements, genres...) ?
The Norton Anthologies (of English Literature, of American Literature) are excellent overviews with some key writings, very good stuff for undergraduates!
@@TheBookchemist Well i certainly was in a playfool mood when i commented that and my good sir i was not expecting an answer. Now I am a bit surprised and a bit embarrassed...

I love this book, I bought it last winter! I doubt I'll do the recipe (I'm not a great cook) but I love the design and the idea of that book!

I've had several dishes from this book cooked by the author himself! The dishes were evil but they tasted good.
Amazing :D!
This bread works as a projective test too
Liked and subscribed , love your colorful shelves Dr Bookchemist !!!
Hello boockemist, will you read another Eco's novel this year? Really looking forward to your review.
