Arnold and the guys get into everything from how he finally learned what the phrase “be useful” means, his relationship with The Rock, which of his classic movies he gets asked about the most, which iconic roles he turned down, and his action movie “competition” with Sylvester Stallone.
We also get his advice on how to work out in retirement, learn how he became a fan of American Football, find out if we’re closer to Terminator being a reality than we think, and why his day usually starts with a visit from farm animals.

I can’t believe Arnold is 77 years old! He doesn’t look or act it. You can tell he genuinely wanted to share his advice and wisdom and they were soaking it up. What an honor for 2 boys from OH to spend this time with one of the greats! They are both living their best lives.

I’ll never forget when he was governor and a guy threw eggs at him and he didn’t miss a beat, pointed at him and said “that man owes me bacon”. It’s rare to see a person so incredibly driven and passionate but doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I def want to read his book.

Love this interview. As an immigrant from S Korea, completely agree with him. I’m fhe 1st to graduate college in my family, I also commissioned as an officer in the Air Force.
My best friend was paralyzed from the waist down in college. He never gave up. He became a doctor & then he worked his tail off & trained to win 1st in Arnolds' wieght lifting competition, the wheelchair event in 2018 " The Arnold Classic." I was so proud of him!! And I'm so thankful Arnold had this event!!❤❤

@carolhoshall2206 Yes, Arnold has it in his event every year. I did correct myself. You can look him up. Steve Lister from S.C. He went on to being 4th the next year in Mr. Wheelchair Olympian. It's just great that Arnold includes that in his events. I could not imagine going through what Steve did, never mind doing all my friend he did after he was left paralyzed. This event truly gives to a lot of people.

Jason really had his antenna when Arnold was speaking. He can learn a lot and he knows it. Especially when he was talking about weapons training and horseback riding lessons. You could practically see the lightbulb over his head. Nice mentor to have, Jason. Circle back to him, he seems willing to help.
I don't like the Eagles, but I just can't stop admiring Jason Kelce's intellect and maturity. Not only is he a beast on the football field, he is also one of the most respectful and sincere people I have ever seen. Wish him all the best for this future.

Jason and Arnold are great role models for Travis. I love it when Arnold gives Travis a little grandfatherly advice to “chill out“ when he’s mad at Brandon on camera. Great interviews should allow for human interplay and vulnerability. This is what the Kelsey brothers do so well. Not just a bunch of soundbites. Learn and grow: a focus of Taylor’s songs and a key theme of these podcasts. Awesome.

between Arnold discussing his history and the help he got to get where he is now and what he has achieved and the fantastic questions asked, this is really an incredible interview and hard to believe these guys have only been doing this for a couple years. As a 90s baby and the kid of a Dad who loved action movies, Arnie is huge in our family. Jingle all the Way is one of my annual Christmas watch, Commando, Terminator, Predator. The list goes on. This is an all timer for me.

I’m excited Arnold’s audiobook is narrated by the author! I’m sure it will be very engaging. Audio books are the only way I can read nowadays (love how you put it, listening while doing useful things). Great way to “read” when life is busy

Watching Arnold talking to them, you just see the Kelce brothers just absorbing everything that Arnold is saying, and they are just soaking it all in. I am watching the Kelce brothers for a while. For me Arnold and Stallone are my GOAT action stars. Witnessing their greatness and iconic movies in the 80’s was an amazing joyride. Rocky 4 and T2 are my favorite movies of all time.

Great episode; Arnold was really sincere and full of joy and talked about so much that made him relatable - goals, dreams, being a father, being a grandfather, doing good for others.
I started lifting and working out in the 70s when I saw the movie "Pumping Iron" with Arnold S, Franco Columbu, and Lou Ferrigno. I was 10 years old. Franco Columbu was my favorite bodybuilder back then.
My favorite New Heights interview ever!! Arnold is a fantastic person and has phenomenal experience to share. I think Arnold loved this interview too because Jason and Travis was prepared with great questions and had great respect for Arnold by not interrupting him. This interview is gold. 👏👏

I have to admit....I wasn't that excited about this episode. I thought, "Arnold? Why?" I didn't think it made any sense. But then I said to myself- oh just listen to it anyway. And honestly....it's probably in my top 3 favorite podcasts that you guys have done. I just really enjoyed listening to this conversation. Arnold seems like a good dude. They could've just kept talking for another hour and I would've loved that.

Kind of a sweet father energy when Arnold says to Jason that he should focus on losing fat weight slowly and build nuscle without focusing on heavy weights and torturing himself ”that should be over for you now”. Really encouraging and kind. Also so fun to see how Travis agrees and relates to so much that he wants to think about in his try in Hollywood. To never forget to also be useful and hype the people that help along the way.
One thing I always admired about Arnold is how hard he worked to act. No one thought he could do it and he became a huge star through just hard work and dedication.
Listening to him name off all the muscles just shows how much he loved body building.

This episode brought me tears but a big smile at the same time. My dad who passed recently was a MASSIVE fan of bodybuilding and especially Arnold specifically. I grew up on all things Arnold. I even spent a good amount of time in the gold gym daycare while he worked out lol. I have all my dad’s old magazines and all these older things of Arnold from when he was younger. I loved that you guys had him on!
