Btw, if you create a clone while carrying a kit of some sort (for example, a rock), the clone will have swords as its weapons, regardless of what weapons you use. Maybe the same code that gives this sword to clones is responsible for mesmer cat? (Sorry for bad English)
What's even more mind-blowing than this existing, is how amazing your editing skills are! I was entranced from the moment this video started. You got a new subscriber!
Ahh spaghetti code.. ever gracing the world with its memorable 'features'. How we all still love backwards-flying skyrim dragons.. and apparently floor dragon too. Hah, but seriously- Mimic would of been an absolute banger of a spec. :) Nice vid~ needed a good chuckle after the current patches in the game. Editing must of been tedious- but it paid off so well!
Ironically I had thought the same thing and was going to show the right hand orb(left side of screen)as a profession skill similar to the place steal is for thief. I didn't want to make the video too long so I decided to not add it.
I can imagine ArenaNet developers trying to replicate this bug without success. However, I strongly believe that they could consider turning it into a feature. You're absolutely right; there are many mesmers out there overperforming, much like Countess Anise and Queen Jenna. At times, it feels like we can't aim for powers like theirs. If this were embraced as a mechanic, mesmer could finally earn its deserved place in the eyes of spectators, like a bug in reality :D
it's most likely an intended enemy small boss encounter that uses the mesmer skill table that was cut from content now the player getting access to a skill bar bug that is most definitely not intended and I want to replicate this for fractal memes.
This is a cool theory and a fun idea - but I’m like 99% positive they did what was easiest and just chose to copy the player state because they didn’t foresee it causing problems. That being said, I do think there is something to your theory around a Mimic specialization potentially.
I wonder why Mesmers don't actually glamour into animals. If they can turn others into a moa, then transformation-magic is entirely possible. Bah, ANET probably just doesn't was Mesmer WoW Druids 🤣
every code will evolve into spaghetti code. Also - every code is spaghetti code for any programmer who was not involved in its writting and looks at it.
Hey beyond the wall. How much did it cost to commission the chibi version of you character that shown up in the middle of the vid? Or did you draw it yourself? Or maybe you got a friend to draw it for you.
Hi Cheese! I started with a public domain chibi to get the shape right, made changes to the body, clothing, and face, and outline by using the 3d paint tool in Windows. I struggle to draw shapes so I had to use references for everything and then lots of "undos" whenever I drew something from scratch. I got it looking half way decent and then fed it into an AI program called "stable diffusion" with a lower diffusion rate. (which means not super drastic changes) It helped a lot with shading, reflection of eyes, etc. I couldn't completely bend it to my will so I had to do a few things afterwards back in paint. its like a Frankenstein project lol. Cheers!
@@BeyondTheWall_Gaming So that's why the tophat looks a little small on his head. Makes so much sense since you fed it through an A.I They have trouble getting perspectives right most of the time.
I love how you turn 1 interesting bug into an entire story. Your editing skills are also improving heaps. Nice work
Thanks! I appreciate that. Now if I can only get my workflow to be faster, then I could shoot out videos at a faster rate XD.
@@BeyondTheWall_Gaming Take your time, no rush :D
I give the AI spaghetti children a mildly unsettling out of 10
Dude this Video gets better every second

Dude the way you explained that was perfect. You don't have to apologize for anything.
I understood everything you said.

oh man, you save me once in the chalice of tears.
without you I would never have my aurora, thank you again
I love your story telling and editing so much! Didn't even finish the video yet. The first scene with the portal was already top tier amazing.
Thank you so much
Damn, man. You did great for real! i just came across your video after playing the game for 2 weeks. Great job for real.
Thanks, and welcome to Guild Wars 2!
This is the most interwting gw2 vid ive seen in a while. Thank you
I love the story you tell with these bugs. Especially bringing up the player state check and theorizing on what you think is going on. Great work sir!
another amazing video
Impressive video! keep it up!
Great video and editing to tell this fun story but the real question is how can I do this for the lols
Is there a bear tonic that will work? Ursanway 2.0
I wish ha ha. Its def worth testing.
To quote my Mesmer "I guess I was the illusion all along."
Really well made, weirdly pleasant to watch video.
How do you do this bug? I really want to see how other tonics interact

Floor dragon is my best friend, he's always there for me
"Is THIS the commander?"
MORE PLEASE ^_^, i'VE SUBSCRIBED JUST FOR MORE INFORMATION LIKE THIS.
a mimic would have been a great elite spec just flipping peoples strengths on themselves
now i want the mimic to be real XD it would have steal F1 like thief but would be that orb thingy to change form depending what you steal from.
Ironically I had thought the same thing and was going to show the right hand orb(left side of screen)as a profession skill similar to the place steal is for thief. I didn't want to make the video too long so I decided to not add it.
Superb Video and Presentation. Love it.
Sounds like a cool elite spec. I Wonder if something like this was relly in plan.

This is RPG should be played. It is cool and entertaining. 😊
Cheers!
Neat video!
But how do you keep your Mesmer skills while transformed?
I hate sand; it’s rough, coarse, and it gets everywhere
Its over Anakin
@@n3lix I have the low ground

How works? I want to do it
I said that with the recent patches, we are moving away from lore for WvW, but things like this could introduce 'confusing enemies' by imitating npcs.
I wonder why Mesmers don't actually glamour into animals. If they can turn others into a moa, then transformation-magic is entirely possible.

Now i want a mesmer mimic spec D:
This video is brilliant! I love the mesmer kitty! 😂

So, what I'm understanding is, you cast an illusion then use the tonic to transform to activate this bug?
LOVED it........
how can i do it, i want to test it
