Starfield's only conversation on Great Serpent theology (Andreja companion & Serpent's Embrace PC)

In vanilla Starfield Todd gives us this single conversation containing teeny tiny bits of one of three selectable religions.
While we do know that our character is a big snek follower since her early life, she was raised outside of House Va'ruun proper.
Ergo - like a Catholic who's never heard of the Pope - she is missing some of the canon of the religion: all she knows about her belief comes presumably from the community she grew up in and the fuzzy feelings she gets when using a grav drive.

I actually like fake religions in media, because they reflect how religions all look the same and thay're all inventions so what's the point of using the "real" religions?

@@sinistersharkfish Rome is only important to Catholicism. I agree it doesn't make much sense, but Bethesa's worldbuilding hasn't made sense for over a decade. It's just the only explanation I can think of that comes close to making any sense. Maybe all the holy books got replaced by Dickens novels.

@@YumLemmingKebabs yeah the Rome thing was just one example I could've said Judaism/Jerusalem or Islam/Mecca or fucking Provo Utah for Mormonism. Point still being, these beliefs are more than their holy places. You're right tho, Bethesda would prefer to keep their world building as bland as an unsalted cracker than write something meaningful
