It's sad because there's still amazing punk bands like this but the shows themselves just are not the same. Not even to sound boomery, but I genuinely think the pandemic effected the way this next generation who was just stepping into the scene in 2020 learned how to socialize and like behave at shows.
@@tomoaries dude, I fully agree. There are some great bands out right now, but it’s so sad seeing how the pandemic has affected the next generation. Especially going from spending hours on hours on phones, and then going to shows just to watch it through their screens. Tbh I hope the next generations can have something as special and pure that we had. I have so many fond and special memories from those days and I hope these kids get to appreciate the music as well
@@Sleepysleepjr I mean I don’t mean filming the show, there’s really not much problem with taking a few clips, I just mean general show behavior and basic social skills. So many kids in their late teens basically lost that part of their growth by being stuck inside for 2 years and that behavioral stunting has been brought to shows now.
@@tomoaries you and me both know I’m not talking about “clips”, I’m talking about the kids who have their phone in the air the majority of the show 😂😂 but that also sucks too. Because no one is engaging with one another like we used to. We used to meet soooo many friends at shows, sharing stories we all had about the band, or random shit. That connection was just so special and genuine. Teens have a muuuch different experience than we did. Tbh I’m just glad the scene is still around and kids are still making siiick music
I hate my self so much for not going to Fest last year, just seeing this guys playin would have made the trip from Costa Rica worth it. Thanks for sharing.
Looking back on this in 2021... this was such a great fucking era in music. God damn, I miss these types of shows
