it’s crazy that TEENick and The-N were 2 separate channels at a point and now Teennick is The-N just rebranded. they need to change it back to The-N though. it was just so much better
in my opinion, the tv viewer count for Teennick would SKYROCKET if they were to rebrand the channel back to The-N. it would just make so much sense to do so
But at the same time, it probably wouldn’t, because of many people dropping cable for streaming services, including teens nowadays depending on Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, etc. for entertainment…
I remember they had the concert performances intact from its initial Nick run. Too bad they were edited out when they started doing the Nickelodeon nostalgia block in 2011.
They did and thank god I recorded these episodes with the music performances intact, watching them back was a throwback and who would have known Nick was going to edit them out 3 years later cause of music rights.
27:07 also back when even The N even promoted Speed Racer TNG for Nicktoons Network on their channel, we Need The-N Back especially for this generation to see what Gem we had to watch

44:17 Someone should remake this bumper with modern nick shows like Next Henry Danger, That Girl Lay Lay, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, The Thundermans, Game Shakers, etc
Yeah. Now all we have is Loud House and more Spongebob, and that can't be good. We need these kinds of lineups back on the main network and take away Loud House.

The N was a nighttime teen programming block on Noggin (back when it was a channel) from 2002-2007 that airs teen shows like Degrassi, as seen here, Instant Star, South of Nowhere, etc., and reruns of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Moesha, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Save by the Bell, etc. Meanwhile, TEENick (not TeenNick, spelled like that as we know as today) was a weekend programming block on Nickelodeon, kind of a replacement of the Snick block that airs and premiers Nickelodeon shows with teens on it, like All That, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, iCarly, H2O, etc., but not actual teen shows like The N had. TEENick was around until early 2009, when that block was discontinued. Meantime, in December 31, 2007, The N became its own channel after overtaking the former Nick GaS (Games and Sports) channel when separating from Noggin. In 2009, Nickelodeon rebranded The N into TeenNick, the one we have and know of today, when they merged The N and TEENick to form that channel.
Hello. Do you have any of The N's Halloween commercials from 2002? If so, can you upload those commercial breaks including the bumpers? The commercials / bumpers I'm talking about is where this teen girl is watching TV with big bowl of popcorn and some Halloween characters give her attention but she says "Not now". I couldn't find those ads anywhere and want to see them so bad
Does anyone here remember that song by the girl with the brown hair who sang “unforgettable, that’s what I told you. Unforgivable something something something.” I honestly have no idea what the lyrics are, but the girl was singing in a school. I’ve been wanting to know what the song is for the longest time.
I guess with Degrassi being The N’s (Noggin’s old programming block and former channel)/TEENick (Nick’s Old Programmming Block)/TeenNick’s most successful and longest running series, they decided to have one of their cast host it.

I agree. I liked how the-n was so unique. Their commercials were even unique, and I miss that.
But at the same time, it probably wouldn’t, because of many people dropping cable for streaming services, including teens nowadays depending on Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, etc. for entertainment…
The N(ostalgia) Network
Maybe they should make a streaming service based on the n brand nick did this with noggin as they had their own app so nick should do it too
Great time to be a pre+teen
I would love to see the N degrassi/ south of nowhere promo videos with the whole cast

The proactive commercial haha I seen that same commercial so many dang times and Jessica Simpson was always on those
Funny thing about that Degrassi Spring Break "movie"...
It's actually a two part episode, so...yeah.

Wrong.
He does not have any recorded tapes involving The N's so-called "Lost Era" from 2006-2007.

Back when TV networks cared about their audiences
I don’t remember this channel. Was it a certain borough or cable company channel? 2008 was a rough year for me
As what @2000sTVGuy said, when it became a 24/7 channel it took over for Nick Gas (Nickelodeon Games and Sports).
@2000s TVGuy It became their own separate channels on New Year's Eve 2007.
2000s TVGuy ahhh. Thank you. Is the Noggin App from Nick Jr a continuing branch off from that by any chance? Random
