    Man! What an extraordinary mind - so much wisdom, a marvel he fit it all in 12 minutes! Especially the part about 'being water' - knowing when to freeze and when to thaw! Thanks much for the upload!

    Brilliant! What a superbly lucid explanation. I could not be more thankfully impressed with JL's talent.

    The limitations give the person solidity. Later on continual falling feels uncomfortable, vulnerable and takes getting used to.

    Thank you for this video. James is very natural. Sometimes the buddhist teachers are too holy with their funny costumes.

    Being very new to Dzogchen, I found this You tube helpful - and could have listened to more! Also appreciated learning about In2wild's background. From Brisbane, Australia.

    There is no persona or personality. Freedom is non-attachment. Moments resists in observer consciousness. Then endless know means love as the highest form of love is compassion. Om So Hum Let it be, Amen, Swaha, Soha.... But it also what is not ;)

    I enjoyed your video. I do research on how Buddhism disappeared in Bihar. I realized it never disappeared from Bihar. Buddhists simply failed to research Indian Buddhism. They looked at Buddhism through the sphere of their own cultures searching for only the Buddha. Buddha had a myriad of names in different villages according to his teachings there. Example. His favorite teaching was 'Lust and desire causes pain. Remove lust and desire, and pain is removed'. Translated into Bihari (where the Buddha story took place) it is DHUKH HARAN meaning to remove dukha. Three dozen villages pray to DUKH HARAN Baba. Its clear that DUKH HARAN Baba is none other than the Buddha. Problem is Buddhists are searching only for the Buddha. In the real Vaishali the Buddha begged for alms. The locals there pray to 'BHIKHAINI' Baba (Beggar Baba). Bhikhaini was mispronounced by Buddhists as Bhikshu. Who is BHIKHAINI Baba. The Buddha no doubt. But people are searching for a man called Buddha. In the real Vaishali, in Beluha the Buddha suffered a sickness and felt he had grown old. The locals pray to 'BURHA' Baba (Old Baba). Who is BURHA Baba. The Buddha no doubt. In the real Vaishali the Lichavies pressurized Buddha not to die. They trailed him to Bandagawan pressurizing him not to die. To put pressure in Hindi is DABESHWAR. Three dozen villages around the stupa where Buddha gave the Lichavies his patra, the villagers pray to Baba 'DABESHWAR NATH' meaning the man who won the pressurizing game. It was the the Buddha no doubt as he gave the Lichavies his patra and succeded in sending them back. But Buddhists are searching for the Buddha. In Pidhauli (Vaishali) the local deity is Bardiha Baba. Bardiha means the Baba who didn't allow us to stay where he was staying. Bardiha Baba is the Buddha no doubt because he didn't allow the crowd of Lichavies to stay with him in Bandagama. Forgive me for commenting out of the topic. I just wanted to impart this information to Buddhists.

    ...and so what? To achieve anything you need not only a teacher but also initiations, which most people have not received and will not receive, for ordinary people there are only prayers and promises of paradise, just like in the religions of the desert

    a child is vulnerable.It takes in all the rubbish the world throws into it, especially religión.As an adult one has to protect oneself snd throw out all the stupidies which one let in unchecked. Learn to unlearn is the work one has to do for the rest of ones life.Freedom is getting free from all conditioning, especially religious nonsense. Buddhism included.- Too much talking.

    • @gernotboesser6901

      +ruzickaw That's not all shit and nonsense, that one learns in life. You are pulling everything into shit and that is negativ conditioning.
      You only can get free, by recognizing the heart of everything, which is emptyness. So you never can get lost into whatever occurs and are free in reacting.

    • @ruzickaw
      @ruzickaw 8 років тому

      you did not read my commentery well. I never used the Word shit. The main point is: dont let things enter the mind unchecked and unquestioned. So you let in only usefull thoughts.Most of the religious stuff is useless because based on lies.

      +ruzickaw Hi,
      forgot to answer, sorry, I agree with you concerning the livelong task of having to uncondition the mind of all the useless and stupid rubbish, that society puts in it. But i still believe, that buddhism mainly intends to free mankind from suffering and pain. It is fundamentally different from the other religions, cause it does not make you small, it says, we all have the qualities of the buddhas within us.

    • @ruzickaw
      @ruzickaw 8 років тому +1

      Buddhism is just another way of conditioning the mind. That life is suffering? First find out.
      That we have tu pay for our deedes in the next life? Where is the proof? That we have the qualities of BUddhas? How many living Buddhas are there actually in the world?
      Look at those lamas and gurus , how many are involved in sex scandals? No religión, no believes, nothing, only then are you free.

      Self absorbed, egoism isn't exactly the answer either. Buddhism's teachings go beyond the dogma that you see in temples. In the end, the empty circle comes back to the beginning. You are already free. Just be completely free and not tied to egoistic behavior.

    Events, incidents, or accidents occur. We experience them from the body, then label them from our subconscious, and save them. Our subconscious does not know what to do with the experience unless something similar occurs again. The subconscious (unconsciously to us) applies the same reaction. This is being conditioned. When we are aware we can make the choice to respond versus react. The choice to make it a more positive outcome. This makes all the difference. We then begin to "think" from the heart, the observer because we are aware of all of our applications to situations. I love these approaches to life with complete awareness and curiosity.
