great reaction. Luke was the videographer on this one. This was a fun, murderous breath of fresh air! The hook is so dang catchy too. Glad you haven't quit doing the reactions. It's cool when you fall into speaking dutch and switch back and forth, don't understand it, but I like the way it sounds.
I work in the UK with a lot of guys whose first language isn't English, you have a very strong grasp of it. I always try to remember my pronunciations and slang when speaking to my European brothers. did chuckle at some of the words you struggled with , I heard them all, in my first language though obviously.

5:39 - Yessir. Everything from my phone to my social media is for me to reach out to people on my terms. Everything stays muted (except for like three numbers that can ring through), everything stays closed, so I am only ever interacting with the world at my best and when I want to. That had me wondering too. Like.. are the tracks all going to be linked together in some way to make or be part of a larger ongoing story? Because that would be amazing and such a Ren thing to do. The storyteller in him would deffo do this.
Not true, Luke Flegg confirmed on Joe E Sparks comment section that they cut twice for the through window shots, the car indoor shot is different from the outdoor shot and Luke did it all on his own as he wasn't confident in having someone else doing the shot he wanted. He laments he didn't show the empty back seat
@@DenTweedJust went and read what he wrote and I think there's a misunderstanding there, Luke said they did a second day of takes to get the 'float through the window' shot right- he didn't say they made any cuts. Ren definitely said this was a one take video.

One is very noticable once you see it. Don't read further if you don't want to notice it every time from now on:
The car window cut when he exits again (when abducting) you see on the right a blue car some distance away with no car close by (just the blue bins) yet once he is through the car window you see a white car very close by and no blue bins (further on you see they're a bit further than the blue bins now). Also you can feel Ren's abduction timing is off, he's barely at the car when the exiting starts but already at the back of the car when we pan to the back. It's only a short amount of time but it's off

Please don't stop doing reactions! I've only been a subsriber to your channel for a short amount of time but I really, really like the way you do your reactions and the chill vibe you have. Even if you only did 1 or 2 days a week and maybe did a couple of videos each time. There are a lot of reaction channels out there but only a handful of them that you can tell know what they are talking about when it comes to technical stuff like the song writing and the videography. And there are only a few that you can tell truly love music and you do both, have the knowledge and show love for the music itself.

I watched Joe E Sparks reaction and he believes that they were passing the camera off to different people. Which makes sense when you're watching it, the transitions are so clean. Someone was already in the backseat of the car and the camera was handed to them thru the window. I kinda don't wanna know... just chalk it up to the magic of Ren and his team 💜🦇💚

The videographer Luke Flegg confirmed it was just him filming from start to finish.
They did however lean in through the window, cut, then get in the car to restart. Same with getting out. Cut, got out, leaned as far as they could through the window, and brought the camera out through the window for the last shot.
He was so adamant to get it perfect/near perfect, they had to do a 2nd day of filming for it

Been waiting for your reaction, I love your analysis of this. Obviously language counts, because meaning matters, but after that I'm realising that rap is all musicality. This making of rhythm and choosing of words that sound pleasing to the ear is present in prose, but it's super concentrated in rap. It's beautiful, seriously.

I always appreciate your reaction. Love your calm, soothing voice explaining things. I'm a 52 year old woman who always said that rap isn't music. It's for people how can't sing. I was a proud New Waver in the 80's and later got into Grunge. Then I found Ren and connected with him. We share in a way the same life with chronic illness and I was blown away by his lyrics. Those where my words said in a way I couldn't.
And through your reactions I learned that there is so much more technicality to rap. I KNOW NOW WHAT BARS ARE!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣 I changed my mind.... Rap is music..... but not al rap! 😅

I was astounded by the camera work this time as well. Per usual. Not a lot of people notice or appreciate Sam’s work. He captures the movements and emotions so well. Him and Ren are in sync. On a different level. I also was wondering how he got out of the car with the camera. Watched it like 15 times but it does look like he opens the door slightly but I could be wrong.

There's a reason why you're one of the top Reactors Ray, and a favourite amongst the RENegades, you add substance to the substance, help explain the cadences & rhyme schemes etc. This isn't the first time either I've seen you say Ren puts you "in the mood" or inspires your own music production so as someone else said, if Ren puts you in your element stick with Ren and the artists who fire or inspire you for any reactions.
The Toblerone bar is the ultimate disrespect for anyone who wants to make Ren an enemy- not only will he F your daughter, but he'll watch her eating the bone & enjoying it like a delicious treat while calling your daughter a dog. I want to thank you for being open about it. And showing just as with all elements of mental health and self care we will all experience varying degrees of the highs and lows of all of spectrum of life.
And sometimes we need to hear it from people like you (those in the limelight/appear to have it all) to realise we are not alone.
I know that you know this But maybe you might appreciate hearing/being reminded by someone else?
You are also 100% correct ‘you can not please everyone’ we all go through a period in life where we believe if we try hard enough surely we will be able to?
Then comes the realisation that we have pert near killed our selves trying to please them all.
Followed by the freedom of no longer caring and just enjoying being ourselves without having to worry about what others may think of us. I would go so far as to say it’s part of ‘defining ourselves’ btw I will be buying some of your merch.
You are a huge talent in your own right and I am sure if you wanted to change the direction/content of your channel in whichever way sparks your creative joy then your true fans will come along on that journey with you. I for sure will be one of them.
Apart from enjoying your knowledge and the way you share it with helping us to understand the many nuances of music and what you are reacting to, I personally love the timbre of your voice so I would listen to you read out the phone book! 😂
The First Time Reaction lane in UA-cam in my opinion is over saturated so I would have no problem with you bringing us music videos of artists you love and may have watched a 1000 times , you could share why you love it and still point out all of the technical stuff people like me have no clue about. You could say what ever it is you want to share with us and we will watch it and enjoy seeing your love and passion and your own enjoyment.
Obviously I have no clue how UA-cam works or the limitations they put on you but essentially I’m trying to say just bring us what brings you joy and sparks your creativity and we will love it too! I think Ren shows that anyone can feel that rage and be the murderer. Look at the reactions to the Oil protestors in London where people, to be fair, have shown incredible restraint but have been driven by frustration to violence. Anyone can get to that.
