Dear devotees, I wish you a blessed day filled with spiritual growth and enlightenment. May you progress on the sacred path to Radha and Krishna. As we navigate this mystical journey, let us follow the guidance of our revered purva acharyas, adhering strictly to the shastras. Beware of deviations and misinterpretations that may lead us astray. Unfortunately, some prominent speakers avoid discussing aparadhas (offenses) and sin, fearing loss of followers. However, hiding truth is akin to deception. The shastras warn that following such misled leaders can lead to dire consequences. Let us stand firm in our commitment to truth, even if it means standing alone. As Krishna advises in the Bhagavad Gita, "Do what you must do." May your spiritual journey be illuminated by the wisdom of the shastras. Warm regards, Paramananda Das
Thank you for openly talking about this matter. I would like to confess that after initiation I did once ate fish, and drank some liquor. And also I eat ionion and garlic sometimes. This old habit is hard to let go.
@edvinchandra1277 then starts by today brother, do not waste your human life. After diksha or by Chanting the Name of Krishna and committing sins is a big sin. Because it is counted as I will clean myself tomorrow by the grace of Krishnas name. This is Nama Aparadha. Avoid that non-sense brother, "stand up and fight!"
Thanks for bringing this up This is a problem with ISKCON now a days in west, and also in India to some extent, leaders running after followers and money... Srila Prabhupada must have been very disappointed seeing all these
In order to enter Goloka or Vaikuntha, one has to be in Goloka or Vaikuntha consciousness before leaving the body, does not matter where you are. Don´t think that you are now presenting something new, especially for those who read Srila Prabhupada´s or any other acharya books. Only neophytes or sentimental people can think something else.
I would give still another advise. If you know English good enough watch the preachers from South India like Dushyanth Sridhar who have access to original Sanskrit text and come from very very very well establish sampradayas in the South and they are trained in a classical style by their acharyas..
Jai Radhe But i have heard you chants Bhaja Nitāi-Gaura Rādhe Śyāma, japa Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Rāma." Which are not approved by sastra, and such chanting wasn't done by our Acharyas. They are called chara kīrtana ( concocted kīrtana). CC Madhya 17.186 Radhe Radhe 🙏
Could you please enlighten me on what the Purva Acharyas chanted aloud? Also, could you study what Kirtanas Sri Gouranga chanted? You will find that I am correct. As far as the shastras explain, there are no limitations on Hari Nam. We can chant Bhaj Nitaigour Radheshyam, which is a beautiful and meaningful song. Alternatively, we can use the Kirtanas songs of Harinam by Narottama Das Thakur. Any Harinam in any order is acceptable, as long as it is not a Mantra. This is according to the Shastra. Your comment appears to be a trolling attempt, lacking any genuine understanding of the shastras. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
@Bhaktajacob, I believe you may not yet fully comprehend the concept of Harinam and its associated rules. Sarva Dada has already provided a detailed explanation on this topic. I kindly request you to make an effort to understand it. It is not as challenging as it may seem.
Jai Radhe First and foremost We need to go back to scriptures to see what it says about the names of Hari that makes up the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.Hare Krishna Mahamantra is indeed more than just a mantra; consists of the holy names of the Supreme Lord,Various scriptures confirm the power and sanctity of these names; Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare. Ṣoḍaśakaṃ nāmnāṃ, kalau yuga nāśanaṃ. Nātaḥ parataropāyaḥ, sarva vedeṣu dṛṣṭaḥ." Lord Brahma replied: "These SIXTEEN NAMES- 'Hare Rama Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare'- are the remedy to counteract the effects of Kali-yuga. No means superior to this is found in all the Vedas." Kali-santarana Upanishad. Now we've established that the 16 words and 32 syllabus are names of supreme Lord. Note that Hare Krishna Mahamantra is not diksa mantra because it doesn't follow Caturhyānta Padas and Ṛṣyādi Ṣaḍaṅga. Therefore let's refer back to what our Gaudiaya Vaishnava Granthas about mahaprabhu chanting the Hare Krishna without counting ; śrī-caitanya-mukhodgīrņā hare-krsneti-varņakāh majjayanto jagat premni vijayantam tad-ähvayāḥ Glory to the Hare Krşņa mahā-mantra, the Lord's names spoken by Śrī Caitanya's mouth, which drown the world in pure love! . Gaudiaya Vaishnavas reject Bhaja Nitai Gaura Japa Hare Krishna hare Rama because of key theological and philosophical reasons which are many but I will just name a few. Mahaprabhu specially ask us to chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra which can also be found in the sastra (Kali-Santarana Upanishad) and also the six Goswamis established the theology and practices of Gaudiya Vaishnavism, including the exclusive use of the Mahamantra for japa and kirtan( Laghu bhagvatamrit- Rupa Goswami). They didn’t recommend mixing or adding other names into the Mahamantra. We have to follow guru parampara and example set by mahaprabhu. .Mixing the divine names like Nitai, Gaura, Radhe, Shyam, and Rama in ways not supported by scripture is considered a misunderstanding of their unique roles in the divine lila and it is rasa-aparadha. Hare Krishna Mahamantra alone fully encapsulates the essence of Radha-Krishna's divine love. It is well known that The Goswamis and other respected acharyas did not endorse such alterations. It was not approved. Everything is already in Hare Krishna Mahamantra. Thanks Radhe Radhe 🙏
