Nostalgic tears in my eyes. the YAMAHA Portasound PSS-190 Stereo was the first even real keyboard i had, back when i was 8 years old, My father gift it to me, with the condition to aprove grade 3 in elemetary school wich i was strigling on.. Loved to hear all the demo songs again, specially Venus! ^_^
That yellow button was my childhood with this keyboard. Crazy how I haven’t forgotten how it sounded. Probably been over 20 years since I’ve heard this.
It's a keyboard that I used to play with when I was young. I used to play along with the demo music and it's really nostalgic. Thank you so much for the video that brings back precious memories 🙏
Thank you very much again for uploading this video! Could you do me one more favour? I read that it's possible that the demo songs can play without the melody. I especially like the song "camptown races". Do you think it's possible to record a video of this song again without melody? You really would do me a great favour!
I just uploaded a video where I show a number of different version of "Camptown Races" on my keyboards. The version without melody from Yamaha PSS-190 is number two.
Could you do a video of you just pressing the yellow Demo button please? That song plays in my head constantly and I haven't heard it since I was a kid!
I hate to say it, but it appears like your theory proved itself to be true! This video seems to have gotten a considerably amount more views than your regular short ones.
Yes, but it's not like ten times the amount. I wonder where the borderline between long and short videos are. I could start to make videos with maybe four songs in a one video and upload fewer. But when it comes to music I prefer the one song per video style.
@@organfairy I'm probably in a very specific audience for this video; I had this keyboard like 25 years ago when I was a kid, and mostly just hit the demo button. Then a few months back one of the demo tracks - Venus, it turned out - just popped back into my head...to the point I'm drumming my fingers to the tune near-constantly. Had to check the video to see if it was like I remembered! So thanks for the upload!
31:25 put 2.0 Video speed 😂 we danced to this as kids! Awesome!
My face lit up like a christmas tree with the last one, listened to that so much as a kid

The song is called Venus by Bananarama, see 31:28

Sounds like it is using an OPL-2 or a derivative
I think you are right. Most Yamaha keyboards from that era sounds FM-ish.
Zesty
Same as PSR 20 , I think
