I think Near Infrared is more for mitochondrial health and energy? That sounds great, but some studies show it’s also aging to the skin and creates free radicals.
@@BluebarnHomestead Oh goodness, sorry to hear that. I’m okay with aging, by I’m definitely not looking to accelerate it. 😆 I really love my portable Relax Sauna. The heaters are designed to have the best spectrums for healing and detox (and no near infrared, which they don’t believe in using). I also love that my head sticks out and I can have a fan blowing on myself. I think it would be very difficult otherwise!
@56strine, I know I’ve already told you this twice recently, but for others reading, he did *a comparison video of his three top portable sauna picks about 5 months ago.* He recommends all three but does seem to lean towards the Relax. It heats up faster, and it’s also more compact with a more comfortable chair. I have one myself and really like it.
@@56strine Oh goodness, UA-cam notifications are so terrible! I do really like it! I start sweating within 10 minutes. Like, *really* sweating!! I sit under my ceiling fan, and that’s sooo nice with my head sticking out. I keep towels under and on the chair, so clean up is a breeze. I keep a towel wrapped around my neck to keep the hot air in and to wipe my face with. I feel the heaters are very high quality with the best infrared for detox and healing. If you want portable and can afford this one, I’d go with this one. From what I hear of the other top two picks, Synergy and Therasage, this one sounds like the best. It also does not have near infrared, which I hear can damage the skin.

Thanks Matt, hope you are feeling better

I could see how it could age the skin. I just started using one, my skin turns red. No a fan, looking to buy a radiantheatlh one soon.

i still dont get why exercising in an insulated outfit wont get the benefit? assuming one can do the work to get the body up to temp.
Is the Relax Portable Far Infrared Sauna the best portable Sauna? I believe it goes for around 1500 dollars.
