Sorry for the delay. If they work on your console and you are using same controllers and usb cable then it could either be a USB connector issue on that console or an issue with the wireless module but that would normally allow you to connect via cable.
And it's a dual shock control! Originally when they released the PS3, the controls had no vibration, so they didn't have dual shock 3 on it! I recommend modding it (use Mr Mario) for dynamic fan temperature, and then you can run PS2 games too! :)

I've seen a couple of comments with this problem. It could be a faulty connection between the console and the controller. I'd try different control pads and see if they connect, or your pads on another console if possible. Could still be the controller battery not holding enough charge.

You need to charge your control pad with a usb cable. Or buy a replacement battery if it doesn't hold charge. Can you borrow a working control pad off someone to test?
Do other pads connect? Or this pad connect on another console? Does it work on the cable before disconnecting? If it's not the cable then it could be the antenna or signal.

It won't even go to main screen
Please help me
I’m having an interesting problem with mine at the moment. My controller connects when it is plugged into the console, but once unplugged it doesn’t.
Mine looked like yours did, when it was connected the player 1 light flashes and I can select things on the menu, but it doesn’t work wirelessly, does yours work wirelessly after all that?
Mine is working fine. Could be the battery in your controller or possibly the transmitter in the PlayStation, do other controllers work?
@@GoodwinsPlace my other controller works with it just fine. I have been testing a bunch of things and would agree that it’s likely the battery.
Though I have to admit, I don’t exactly know how to go about replacing it.
Same problem here
My controllers can turn on a ps3 wirelessly but after that it just cant connect through wireless, I tried using a different ps3 cable just like the vid but its still the same. Currently stuck using cable :((
@@fatkid6389 you got more progress then what I can do, my controller won’t turn on the ps3 wirelessly. Seems like yours has paired in some way for it to do that.
When i plug my ps3 controller even if i didn't turn it on the 1 red flash will start blinking but the controller won't work and when i remove the cable the controller won't turn on
Sounds like a battery charging issue
@@GoodwinsPlace how could i fix it
Try another pad or this on another console first. If it's still not working you can get a new battery on eBay.
Thanks bro you're awesome
Glad it helped. Lots of people still having the same issue.
Crazy ypu had so many cables that didn't work i use a generic usb for my ps3 and all is fine strange to say the least
You must be lucky with that one cable. Still get it now if I'm not using the right cable it doesn't see the pad to connect.
Hatte ein zweites kabel mit dem es dann geklappt hat liegt woll echt am Kabel
Thanks for the comment. Sorry my Google Translate isn't clear. The second cable has more of the cables connected internally whereas the basic just has charge and basic data transfer.
My 3 controler only blinking
When I reset it ots always blinking help me
Have you tried what's in the video? Different USB cables and charging the controller?

Yo did the cable work you
Mine works wired but not wireless
Mine is not working
Have you tried different cables? Might be and if possible other control pads with those cables to double check it's not a faulty pad
Bro, I have an blue led controller but it still doesn't work. Can you help please?
Solid blue light but no interaction might suggest controller fault. Can you try on someone else's system?
when i conected tow controler
the second controler dosnt work insaid any game
but in menu it work

Does that controller work as 1 player on its own?

Sounds like a battery issue. Needs charging or swapping out then try again.
What should I do my friend ?
You need to charge your control pad with a usb cable. Or buy a replacement battery if it doesn't hold charge.
Can you borrow a working control pad off someone to test?
What’s a control pad
Cause I bought it 2nd hand
Thank you worked .....👍
Glad it helped. Thanks for commenting.
thanks mate
Hope the video helped. 👍
Same issue here. Still struggling.
Yo did the cable work you
Thanks man..
Hope it helped. 👍
Not working
Do other pads connect? Or this pad connect on another console? Does it work on the cable before disconnecting?
If it's not the cable then it could be the antenna or signal.
I TRIED SIX CABLES MATE WTF
It needs to be a cable with all connections. I have loads of older budget cables that mainly connect the charging and basic data lines.
Lol it worked now wtf weird
@@ClintyFN haha. Good stuff, glad it's working.
@@GoodwinsPlace thx
You took 15 min to just say that
😁 Yep. But did it work? 100% 👍
i have the same problem
Try the different cable or should help 👍
Control pad
Agree two words. But for search it was giving best results one word. In the description I have it as control pad or controller.
Just helps people find it if they are stuck.
How boring dude.. Why don't you try cable number 60.. You serious 😒
I hate Facebook marketplace.
It's not as good these days for getting a bargain. Used to be much better.
Mine isn't connecting wirelessly and I doubt its the battery because its both of my controllers having the issue
Same here
