- I was excited to hear about the Orbital Support when they first announced it at the beginning of the year but I'm not happy with the result now and i think most of War community feels the same as me. So i decided to make this video hoping to make a change and affect pixonic decision before they add OS to live server.
in this video I'll talk about:
1-reasons why i hate OS.
2-suggested ideas to make it better.
3-why we should stop giving pixonic a hard time.

why we hate OS?
-because it's not only widen the gap between f2p and p2p but it adds unnecessary complication with ZERO fun/new gameplay experience added, its nothing new and its not even impressive graphic-wise, its gonna be hard to obtain new spaceships and upgrade them while most of us still struggle to upgrade our robots, pilots, drones chips, titans. it just a burden at this time.. not to mension it focuses on dealing massive dmg without effort and neglects the tactial part of gameplay experience, it's so easy to get the death button ready to be used in matter of few seconds (it doesn't encourage skillful playstyle). and in some situations you will have to face 2 or 3 enemies alone and if they used it against you it's a game-over, it leaves you with no chance to even fight back.
how to improve it?
-first step is to move away from idea of dealing massive DMG with one tab, and use different kind of elements that improve the tactical fighting gameplay style (healing, dot, suprssion, lockdown.. etc)
why we should stop hating?
-during the making of new content they must consider many rules that related to game designing and coding and try to avoid breaking these rules. thats why its so hard to add freasg and ambitious ideas, it costs too much time and money and if they couldn't add it to the game then that time and money lost they will never get it back.

why we hate OS?

So many new thing i got to know about game(s) and their development and how lagsonic is just focused around extrating money from players pockets and also how other game work and a lot more about those laggs and their cause i didnt knew that

The OS is no needed as it already have too many things to upgrade. And the MK3 as well.. it just another money making scheme rather to improve the gameplay

I think the orbital support button should make the player hold the button while it locks on too a enemy robot and it’s takes time instead of a single tap to do damage. Also they should make orbital support not be able to damage titans.
Pixonic should name orbital support to: Anti-Camper Laser aka ACL

You are absolutely right! Orbital Strike, the way it's designed now, is destroying the gameplay. At least it should limited to one use in every match.
They should be more unique. What about something that makes a big smoke cloud where you can't see each other? What about one that sends a capsule of healing nanobots to repair you and your alies within your radius? Supression, lockdown or EMP? Or corossion maybe.
An other things is that an clan or someone with an team can just target/foces on one person even if they are either underpowered or overpowered.
What I can suggest as an idea that the Orbital Strike can only be used once and it takes longer to earn in battle and cannot be active while your in the Titan. Also that they convert it to an AOE from where you are standing at and give an small damage bost, small defend bost, small amount of healing. That's all I can think of that won't break the the game.
Something that you and your allies can benift from but it must be used correctly or it will go to an waste.

I really like the Orbital strike idea, and I can't wait to see more ships pouring into the game after short notice, honestly, I don't really care much about paying money cause I only pay whenever it's affordable anyway on the daily offers, and I don't chase meta, I'm not a champion player. But one thing about this game that makes me still playing for a couple of years now, the game designs and robots mechanism is just beautiful, I do enjoy the robots designs a lot and I really looking forward to enjoy the spaceships designs too, showing the picture of the unfinished spaceship at the end of the video is not fair, cause you know it's still a work under progress and this is not the finished product. I respect other point of view of course, but as I mentioned previously, this game is just a fun place to be with for a few hours a week and express my fantasies. I don't take it so seriously like other players.

ps: i wasn't criticizing the spaceship design but the system of "changing and upgrading" and the whole thing being a resources sink hole :)
They should make it like the damage is 10k and the enemy that is used on gets suppressed and pushed away (push force as poweful as minos) and the enemies around it get the same effect
And dont forget new coureny for orbital strike
One of the very rare YTs who actually speaks his mind. We all know what mothership will become. Another layer of overpowering feature to generate higher and higher revenue. Of course there will be players willing to spend thousands of dollars and it's their right but at the same time they will hasten the game's demise because more and more will leave.
I will not spend money on this game because of the way Pixonic treat its players especially those who play for free. It's totally unbalanced. They know what's happening and they keep doing it. As a business person myself I don't see value in their proposition. The constant rebalancing which is basically a scam to nudge you to purchase ever more powerful weapons or features and repeat. I don't know about others but I realized it 6 months into the game. Many top YTbers prod along promoting the new gears and thus contributing to the way the game evolve. So it's refreshing to see some dissenting voice.

I think if they want to make orbital strikes they should at least make the mothership visable when it attacks

It should be like that u get charge by killing healing capture beacons and they should have one and only one ship and also paint jobs for them without any benefit that's all u should be able to change with them and the strike colour will changed by skin too.ANY DAMAGE should not be added with a skin and should be able to change it like lock down knock back or heal this will be for free like active modules they are free and unlocked by a certain level and the airstrike should be given a warning on top beacuase sometimes u get surrounded by enemy players and can't see the outline and the damage of airstrike should be reduced

It's as if Titans, drones and upgrading your stuff even to MK1 level 12 isn't extreme enough, we then have something new to worry about. Instead of fixing the damn matchmaking, lock-on system and tankers, they decide to ignore and be reluctant about their player base and continue pursuing on what only brings them profit.

I too hate and dislike the OS and it deals so much damage it must get you to 50% no matter what even if you have a bulwark with 3 fortifiers it will Take down the entire shield and get you to half HP sometimes

I was great fan of this game when it launched, I played it from beginning but around 3 years ago they started putting game breaking things and it ruined all fun. Lower league play is always fun because you can play there with skills but on higher leagues you are gonna meet players who just are money banks of pixonic then I stop playing this game. But later when I started to play again I started to track such players and started to ruin their game no matter we won or lost 😂 that's I say fun 😅. But pixon is really very greedy, "we play the game not for fun but to collect some resources 🙂"

why should you get notified when Scorpion attacks you? You just said that you don't like idea of some ability cancelling other abilities and yet you want specific feature that makes Scorpion ability useless? Sounds like hypocrisy pretty much.
wanting something to be predictable isn't making it useless or cancelling it.
beside the rules i mentioned was just to give an example that there are many things to consider before they bring on a new fresh ambitious ideas, it's not easy.
@@DynoGames101 Scorpion’s ability is called “backstab” for reason. Making it predictable renders it quite useless. Not to mention that making enemies actions predictable is utter nonsense. Maybe enemies now should give you warning before they attack you? ;)
not in all cases, and they used this rule pretty much in all robots and it works just fine, even the new OS (a halo circle will appear around u in 1 or 2 seconds before the strike) which gives u the option to plan ur next move either jump away or use PS.
