    Thanks for the well illustrated intro to plant families. I really have trouble distinguishing the yellow composites at a glance such as Arnica, Packera, Senecio, et al. . So I would appreciate some off-the-cuff and gestalt-ish comments on how to distinguish genera in the Asteraceae based on their leaves, densities of their ray flowers, sizes of their disc flower areas, whatever. I don't pluck the flowers so don't want to distinguish them based on stem or leave hairiness. 🌻
