That is not true. You are hearing and Democrats Dumb Bum believe what you want to believe and hear. The AAC is more valuable and solid than the PAC and definitely MWC. The SBC is more solid, and both CUSA and SBC schools are under massive GORRs so will cost whomever of the three conferences in AAC, MWC, or new PAC substantially more than they thought or expected.
Oh trust me they know that but they have to try and spin it to salvage something after the PAC came in and took what they wanted. It’s gonna be a hard sell though especially when word gets out they don’t pay NIL to players they promised

@@FresnoState101 I don't understand their bias...I liked listening but the more I listened, the more negativity I heard about the PAC 12....if you take the PAC 7, add ANY other school to make it 8 and you still have a way better competitive conference than any other G6. Adding Memphis or UNLV would have been great but it's still the best G6 without them. Also, Fresno St is one of the better balanced athletic programs out there. They have proved capable of competing with the big boys.
@@FresnoState101actually the AAC has a winning record against the PAC and even the former PAC12 configuration and has a winning record barely over all G5/6 conferences since 2012 up to now. The AAC actually has a good record against former PAC12, Big12, ACC, and decent record against BiG10 and Notre Dame. Only the SEC has an insurmountable lead in head to head competition but they kick everyone’s ass. And if you want to count when the AAC was the Old Big East, it’s not even close who at this point is the best G5/6 conference. Now is the AAC weaker than before? Absolutely. Is the SBC stronger and firmly positioned to take over depending upon what happens in the next few years? Most likely.

His name is Ed Scott, and he wasn't taking a shot at the PAC he just said it was a bad deal for Memphis, if it's a better deal they would go. You got to listen to the whole interview.
Add Sam Houston and Texas State. They have an in state rivalry spanning over 90 years and will be playing this weekend at NRG Stadium (Houston Texans Stadium). Great time to watch the two teams play, and see what kind of product bringing both teams over would do.

I think the thing people are overlooking here is if the Pac sticks with 8 members each school will be making twice the rate would have been for a 16 team conference. So them merging with the MWC and giving money to schools that weren't going to raise the value of the TV deal doen't make sense when they can just operate as an 8 or 9 team conference.
Not sure why u keep railing on pac 12. No matter what team they get now. They got the best mountain west teams and left the bottom feeders. As far as memphis n Tulane. To become a qualified FBS conference the PAC only needs 1 more team. It's foolish to think over the coming months that not 1 team across FBS G6 would be willing to be the deciding factor to kick start the PAC again. It's going to happen. Once it does, the PAC can start at minimum garnering info on what a TV deal will look like provisions to add. With all the top MWC teams shifted to the PAC + OSU & WSU...sorry to break it to you but there is no way a western TV media deal in the MWC is better than the newly formed PAC. No way. Once the PAC gets its feet under it and gets some marketing going....there are a lot of teams that will want to re-visit offers. The PAC will know more of what it can spend and offer better teams. Things are just too grey and too uknown right now. I honestly think the PAC knew this and was just doing an early wave of expansion to see the interest. I highly doubt it will get to 8 teams and just sit there. I am a little surprised by the Utah State add, but hey....every conference needs a generic team to kick around.
I agree. The PAC12 is in the first few months of a 2 year exemption and people are already trying to write the PAC off. The PAC12 is already the best G5 with the current members they have now. The MWC is a shell of its former self. The ACC is a dumpster fire with only 3 or 4 schools worth anything and when it's all said and done they will probably join the PAC12. Teams are not trying to destroy other teams or conferences. Schools are trying to survive. The only teams taking a hit in all this are Wazzu and Oregon St. Everyone else will most likely make more money or at a minimum make what they have already making.

It did not make any sense for California Stanford UCLA USC Oregon Washington to play their games in the eastern and central time zones they will be coming back to the Pac 12 their travel expenses must be over flowing added Arizona Arizona State Utah Boise State or Fresno State Colorado will stay they cant recruit enough talent to compete in the Pac 12 and against the big boys USC Oregon Washington

@@MileHighMinutebut that is only going to be 1-2 trips per sport per year as opposed to the 6-12 or more trips per sport per year to 5 of the current 7 schools in the new G6 PAC12 and keep in mind three of the 7 schools you can’t fly directly to their campus location from your school. Now that I think about it, I think four of the 7 schools in the new PAC12 you can’t fly directly to the city the campus/school is located. But to be fair, any school in the MAC, CUSA, SBC or from the FCS ranks, can’t be a standalone institution in the Central or Eastern or Atlantic times zones and regions going to either the MWC or PAC12 due to costs and expenses and other factors. The G6 conferences setting pretty good right now are AAC first, SBC second, and surprise surprise CUSA. If either the MWC or PAC take NMST and UTEP, they would actually be doing a great favor to CUSA, as they can then focus on grabbing all of ASUN and then half of the WAC more than likely and strengthen their Texas and Louisiana and Florida and Tennessee recruiting areas along with other areas and states.
Pac 12 should add Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, Penn State, Oregon, Micigan, Florida, Oklahoma, and USC and give those teams the lion's share.
