This street video starts at Waterloo Road. Take a walk with us along the promenade to Osborne Road, directly opposite South Pier. Take a diversion along Dean Street, Station Road and Withnell Road. We use to stay up station road when my dad use to take us we stayed at Philip's every year , we called in the little shops for toys 😊

Hi Jane thanks for the video looks a nice day you can do a lot off walking in Blackpool there are so many B and Bs down the side streets lt. does not bother me what it looks like on the out side as long l got a clean bed toilet shower sink breakfast that will do me.

Hi Jane the red rose guest house station road was next door to Phillips Apartments. Me and the wife always stop at the red rose guest house we have done for quite a few year's. The couple who own it are two elderly people jean and david and they are very friendly people we are there the 20th of August for 8 day's. Cannot wait to get there.
The private carpark you mentioned on the corner of Dean Street belongs to the Viking Hotel. I've parked in there many times whilst staying at the Viking.

Hiya Jane myself and my sister always stay at the queen's Hotel that u commented on and we go with alfa travel they collect us from Leicester etc to the queen's they go on day trips too, price all in, food all in. Good value for money. Can't wait till September 25th staying for 6 days.

Great to have a look around places to stay around the south of the prom always found myself that the welcome you got from the smaller independent hotels/guest houses far outweighed the facilities on offer at the larger hotel chains, seeing the homeless sitting under nearly every lamppost you passed along the prom was heartbreaking i know some of them may not be what they seem but there are some that have a heart breaking tale as to why they find themselves in that manner, God bless them and thanks for the look around Jane.

I recommend 2 Hotels
1st manuella rose Hotel in hornby Road Blackpool excellent value for money food and rooms excellent try there full English breakfast
2nd Hotel is the ruskin Hotel on Albert Rd Blackpool again excellent value for money buffet breakfast and 3 course evening meal food and rooms excellent entertainment at night to
Anyone coming to Blackpool either for a weekend or full week then try and stay at the 2 Hotels recommend

Something I have always wondered - what happens at what looks like an open air theatre on the right of the Pier? It is a black cuboid building with what looks like a curtained stage. I have been to Blackpool many times before the lockdowns and I have never seen anything happening there.
Another question is what an "Air B&B" can possibly be? It sounds like the basket of an Air Balloon equiped for an overnight stay amongst the clouds!
I itch to put an apostrophe where necessary on the names of some of the hotels and guest houses!
The stage is part of the illuminations show - not being one for going out after tea I can't remember having seen it working either! Air B&B is a way of letting out houses and rooms without being an official business. Google it - there's loads around here!

I once went to a show at the viking it waams good, and currently i dint know there policy on ele tronic smoking do you ?
I dont like them they smell awfull and dont want to inhail any of that smoke, viva allowed them before pandemic and wasnt good, so not been since do you know there current policy ?
I detest any form of smoking and basically ruins my eve, so stay away.
