This was me! I had to start working, so I only played it three times which means I started work 30 minutes later. I regret nothing.
This 10 min gorgeous art piece (and its MV short film) references other Red songs:
- “Never getting back together” with the “3 months in the grave” talking about an on/off relationship.
- “Moment I knew” with the part about her Dad, her birthday and turning 21. The MV has her alone at parties too. All of that about how her bf wasn’t there on her special or important days.
- “State of Grace” with the “twin flame” line.
- “Babe” with the “sacred prayer” part where she talks about her kept oath implying he didn’t keep his. and later the “break me like a promise”. All this relates to “we’re a wreck, you’re the wrecking ball. we said no one else” b/c of the implications that she was cheated on.
