Hey folks! This video is all about taking some trash and turning it into some good looking terrain! These towers are going to be a part of my future board for Mordheim but as always the techniques can be used for D&D, Warhammer and Frostgrave! Please feel free to tell me what you think of the build! Stay safe and lots of love! 👍💙💛💙
Dear Leif, love you so much from Italy, my husband and i love to watch your videos. It's incredibile how you are able to create ART from everithing. A true master. 😊❤.... Thank you soo much for your amazing videos
Thanks Eric! I really appreciate it! Yeah changing the size of it really made it quite easily not look like a Pringles can! You should play if you can for sure! Just finished my 4th game with my Reiklanders this evening! 👍😃
You did very well, and even though you told me in our many voice chats that you used trash to make the tower I did not believe you. Amazing work man, I learnt something new with this one.
He's not gonna brick the whole outside is he?? He did! Aaaand the inside too...You sir, are mad! :D This one made me happy, since I suggested a wizardtower a while back. This build is awesome! Your ancestor must have been an architect in the 14th century or something :) Grymt jobbat Leif! Jag spelar ju inte ens figurspel, men skulle lätt kunna ha ett sånt torn hemma i hyllan bara för att det är snyggt! Gillar rankan/murgrönan!
Hahahaha! Of course I am! That's the interesting challenge with this sort of wargaming terrain, it needs to look good from the inside and outside! 😂Tack så mycket!!! 👍😀
Very cool build. Only (very minor) personal point: I believe the floors were supported by diagonal beams to help distribute the weight, kind of like primitive buttresses if you will. The ruined floors could have benefitted from something like that.
Haven't played Mordheim in about 8 years, but watching this video it occurred to me: Didn't I put a pringles can under my painting table way back then to make a tower of some kind. Poked around for a few seconds just now in the clutter under there - yep, pringles can. Been there almost a decade.
Your Pringles can tower is much more epic than mine. LOL. When I told my son-in-law to save the can he looked at me like I was nuts. Then...boom....ruined tower for Frostgrave.
Pretty darn good-looking! I really dig the arrow slits! My go-to trash material right now is egg carton. The big rectangles you get from the lids is perfect as texture for either brick or for the texture on half-timbered houses. Just glue the sheet onto a piece of cardboard for stability and add stir sticks on top for the timbering.
I agree Tenurion! Egg cartons are awesome! I actually just the other day gave that advice to someone looking to make some cobblestone bases for his warband! Thanks for commenting! 👍😊
Thank you so much Chason! Yeah the whole "making it NOT look like a Pringles can". Well, it was sort of my main objective so it makes me glad to hear you say it's not identifiable as a Pringles can! 👍😉
Another great build. I totally agree that if you are going to use trash then in the end result it cannot look like the thing it started out as. I have many Necromunda tiles and what stands out are the things I didn't disguise enough not all the other trash you don't see.
This looks amazing as usual. I love the way you made the pringles can into a larger tower, I wouldn't have thought of that myself. I've made a dicetower out of a pringles can, and I've had some ideas for a can-tower for my games, so I'll be borrowing that tip for the future!
Man, that turned out great. I don't have much fantasy terrain, but all my sci-fi and post apocalyptic terrain is pretty much made of trash and old toys, just repainted and weathered to look the part.

I love this! Looks amazing! I love that you changed the size of the Pringle’s can. So many towers look like Pringle’s cans, but this gives a nice varied size! Also love the bold roof color!
Thank you Prof T! Yeah that sort of was my personal challenge, to make it NOT look like a Pringles can! Thanks! I do love that Vallejo Dark Sea Blue! 👍😂
I recently picked up the old gw how to make terrain book that I had as a kid (early- mid 2000s) purely for nostalgia sake now I've found ur channel and I NEED to build some buildings
Oh wow, Leif! You keep out doing yourself, this looks so amazing! Love the finishing touches to it, just be careful with your fingers, 😂 Can't get over how easy you make it look though, is crazy. 😅
I really like this build. Those bricks are so tiny though! I’ve been using 1 in bricks but yours are a more realistic size for 28 mm minis. Also love the top part with the roof made of foam core, coffee stirs and shipping cardboard.
Amazing! Thank you for the inspiration, I've just finished the building of my own pringles tower, now it's just waiting for the paint job. Keep on making these videos, they give us so much energy to go out and build scenery!
Bravo, homeboy. That is super cool. I need to make a gatehouse for my own DnD table, and this video is quite inspirational. Keep 'em coming. Cheers, --Bo A.
Thanks Bo! That gatehouse sounds like an awesome build! I was contemplating on adding some ruined walls or something that I could have close to these towers! 👍😊
YES! I saved up those Pringles Tubes and always thought to myself: One day I will make something cool out of them! Now I am inspired to actually do it! It will be for 40k though...

Thanks Chris! Always a pleasure to see a comment from you man! Hahahaha! I do remember that sour-cream and onion was a "WOW!" experience way back when! Hahahahaha! Not sure the jury would agree but thank you! 👍😂
This ruined tower you've made is so cool Leif! Great use of a Pringles can by the way! Now you need to make a fallen ruined wall of stones that the towers were once attached to! Like they were at the corners of a big fort or walled city! It would be up to you to decide if you wanted the ruined wall attached or not. You might want to make it as a separate piece that can be used or not used as you want! Just throwing out an idea! Later my friend!
